Super cheap either way you look at it. An investment of 1 box set and 1 or 2 blisters.

After that the sky is the limit my friend this isn't Warhammer or 40k you don't need the newest biggest most expensive unit to make a viable force.

You need to understand what your strengths are in regards to how you play.

That said hellcats would be my next investment not remotes and it really depends on what point level your looking to jump too.

At 200 points you would (assuming you brought both) just make a 5 man Wild Cat link team with the HRL and the Spit Fire. Then downgrade most other things to fit within the SWC limit.

At 250 you would shoe horn in some more/better equipted Hellcats or amore/better equipted Intruders depending if your an AD2/3 fan or a CAMO fan.

At 300 you should know what you like doing by then!

Well this is what I have in terms of models:

Interventor Hacker (girl with the two holos)
Vortex Spec Ops
Hellcat with boarding shotgun
Wildcat with Spitfire
Tomcat Engineer
Tomcat with Combi Rifle and big giant tube of death

I'm perfectly willing to buy the Corregidor box if that makes it easier to make a good list out of this, haha.

Also, don't I need something with the doctor skill? I've noticed it's not hard for models to become unconscious.

Finally: Spellscape, I'm not trying to hijack your thread. I hope you find my questions helpful to your cause, as well. :)

You don't need a Doctor. If you want one though, the Tomcat Engineer makes also a good Tomcat Doctor, since there is no model for it yet and it will most likely look pretty much the same.
The Corregidor Box might be a good investment in your case, because it lets you play a Corregidor list based around a Wildcat link (just use the Votex as the fifth member). Between the Intruder from that Box and the Tomcats and Hellcats you already got the perfect additions to round out such a list.

I got my arse handed to me. I wrote up my experiences in the battle report section. :)

Why don't I need a doctor, McNamara? Seems to me bringing models back is a good thing, right?

Both true and false.

It entirely depends on what and how you play. For example if you want to play the newest ITS missions the lack of a doctor can result in a loss of a vital VP.

Can't fault that though the Tomcat's are arguably the best but I would get Carlota Kowalsky, Tomcats Sergeant to use as a Doctor or even an Engineer since she comes with at Zondcat.

Will check it out now.

See my previous comment.

But the break down is this in most games spending an order to hopefully regain an order might not always be the best option.

1. You might just kill your own guy with a failed WIP roll.
2. Your order might be better used killing the enemy or completing an objective.
3. Your order's are finite in timed games like the ITS scenarios so see point 1 & 2.

I personally find doctors if you can afford them often force your enemy to spend orders to prevent them reviving important models. So its just as a much of a mind game as most things in Infinity can be.

VisOne is right, I just meant that you don't need them, but that they are rather useful. So if its possible to include one, its great, but don't stress yourself on getting one in your list. thats all.
