Actually, I started in loss of lieutenant so I had 2 orders (1 on the first turn because of AD). :D I think even without Loss of Lieutenant the last man standing rule would have given me two orders, too.

I probably shouldn't have landed on top of everyone, but I was really hoping to take out the Naffatun Lt. with the explosion and even the playing field. Sadly, that left me open to three flamethrower AROs on my next order. :(

EDIT: And those three dice on that lass panel were my armor saves against the Maghariba's use of integrated ammo. When he fired I kept saying to my son "are you sure you want to use integrate?", quite certain I'd beat the face to face. But he assured me he wanted to try integrated, and sure enough I lost the face to face, and blew all three explosive saving throws.

Ah, forgot about Last Man Standing. I wouldn't drop in range of pretty much everything, you can fail the fire ARM rolls and with 3 HFTs flaming you it can be nasty.

nice report ;)

with Haqq, I would have scatter more the naffatuns, thus avoiding to offer more than one target to the enemy flamethrower . .

I'm happy you enjoyed it. It was interesting trying out Comic Life (at my son's prompting).

I think he was worried I'd drop somewhere safe and pick them off one by one. There wasn't a lot of cover on the table because we threw it together fast.

I think I'd still prefer to waste an order, drop somewhere safer and pick off the Naffatun from outside the HFT range. Fire is nasty.

Yup, that's exactly what I should have done. But it was my first run with the Caskuda and I had to go for the glory! I.e., I had to give that explosion a try. :D

Another lively battle report form SgtHulka! Interesting game it must have gone quickly with so few models involved. The comic style worked out well.

Ok, that was awesome. Kind of a weird game setup, but still awesome. I want to read more of these comic-book style battle reports.

Say, if we were to start sending you summaries of our battles with pictures, could you give them the Sgt. Hulka treatment? I'd be happy to consider any report you made of my battle to be the property of both you and any website you want to post them on, and it'd be an honor to have my games immortalized in this way...

Rule #1 of the Caskuda - the EXPLODE is always a TRAP!

Did you use a program for the comic effect, or do it manually? Because that is how you do batreps. Especially loved that "I'm a Naffatun, think I'm scared of a little heat?" bit, real classic comic book line there!
