The game is too simple for me. This might be fine for those that enjoy that sort of game or boardgamers who want a change - but it isn't for me.
It uses prepaints. Now, I'll get prepaints as a "collection" thing, but not as playing pieces. Painting is part of MY hobby, so it's a no-go for me. I get that this probably isn't so for a lot of gamers - but it's enough for me.

I never really understood this worry; I got into Infinity knowing full well I'd probably drift into two different armies, and ended up with five instead. Amusingly enough, I haven't purchased more than a starter box for X-Wing and don't plan to order much more than possibly a second one for X-Wings vs Tie-Fighters.
