I friend of mine wants to start playing infinity with MO and he asking for advice for making a plan for a slow growth league that's budget friendly.
I have zero experience with this sectorial, so any help would be appreciated!
I was thinking starting with the starter box and building from there, maybe adding one knight for each 50pts step?

Knights look awesome
Sergeants and remotes ARE awesome (especially TO FO infil sarge and the Buletteer)
That's not to say that Knights are bad, but they're not what you base a balanced force around
If he wants to field LOTS of Knights, the best bet is to go Magister link, as they're very cheap and linking them makes gives them serious bonuses (B2 Missile / PFaust + keep cover)
Otherwise, the other Knights range from low 30s (Frenzied ones) to mid 40-50s, so clearly not cheap and you have to consent to big sacrifices to field a lot of them
