I remember once seeing a grenade launcher shot dispersion nringing it back to firing person once, do NOT miss that...
This game is random as hell anyway, scattering templates would just add another layer of RNG!

Yeah, but I'm still struggling with accepting 16 inches set dispersion range for paratroopers.
2 rolls for dispersion is actually really good idea, as dodgy maneuver like where you could calculate the place to set down the template based on where your troop could to deviate is no longer possible. Good.
But deviating from drop point always by 16" when you miss? I'm not liking it...

Well, we can houserule that. A quick and perhaps neat idea is to make deviation roll decide on the distance too.

I.e. if your direction roll was 1-10, you get 8" off-course. If it is 11-20, 16" off-course. It doesn't affect the directional scatter, as every number shows on the template twice anyway. You just have a 50% chance of scattering 8" instead of 16".

But I guess CB have - again - ruled out in favour of playability / game balance and disfavour of pure realism. And I can dig, why.

The variable distance rule could work, especially given the new template numbers layout. I'd vote for it.

Ok, so after WM tournament in "Wrota" i can say, that place is: Warm, Cozy, Bright, Spacious and a lot more quiet. Also there are two gaming places one can have closed doors, also Staff seems approachable so we could arrange games in less noisy environment (big plus for our old and live-tired friends :) ) Only drawback is that they need to unload stuff so no storage place yet, but in time maybe there will be a free storage place.

Also its near tramway and near a free parking space so a big + for me.

Also there is possibility that Wrota will sell Infinity and i prefer to buy stuff at local games stores.

BTW Anyone for a game on Tuesday? I should be free after 16:00

I'm at work till midnight so no go:/

I'd say the place sounds great, minus the storage part. It won't be practical taking terrain every time, and I doubt it will be durable enough. When they'll have some storage - we could move there...

That's definitely good news. Could you keep your hand on the matter? I guess once they manage to get storage space available (shiny, if it is free, but if it is not, I belive we can work with that as well), we could move there.

Sure, got myself a session of flipping thru pages and "look, that's changed!" moments...
Not only do Scouts get Ojotniks but also Marksmanship L2 in one neat package...

But my fave unit have probably become the Grenzers, due to ability to use Sensor, and therefore, Triangulated Fire.
Replace ALL modifiers to hit by single -3? count me interested!

That would be shiny.

What size, what game type, and which edition, then? For me, it is Hassassin time theoretically, but if you want a N3 game, I'll have to give the list some serious thought.

And equally affordable starter packs, just I don't need extra Algulacile Hacker (I could do with Hellcat and Intruder - make them into ADHL variants - and definitely could use extra Wildcats)...

You can always convert it into FO variant, should you need one. Or a Corregidor-flavored Clockmaker...

Basically, Achilles.

I admit, I was not properly prepared, and not thinking as well as I should have. Add some luck shortage to that, and I was basically done...

Well, I had my main Ghazi misdeployed for that job, and he was killed by a Thorakitai while attempting to Search the Crate (succesfully). Bad thinking on my part.

I was unlucky hunting Nessaie Alke with my Fiday (she killed him in a firefight, and survived a mine blast), though that caused the other mine to detonate and kill a different Thorakitai.

Achilles knocked out two Lasiq snipers - they were unable to score hits under the hail of bullets from his Spitfire, and being pressed hard by ODD.

I shot a Barid's Marker close to him, but failed to Hack him, and then Achilles dodged out of Hacking range.

Asawira failed to score hits with a Spitfire due to Achilles dodging.

Another Ghazi was caught in a crossfire, and fallen mid-way of his attack run (one bullet from Achilles, two from a Linked Myrmidon's Spitfire. I assumed I could've done it with one wound thanks to Dogged, but with three, nope).

Achilled managed to get to me avoiding the Marker's hacking zone, and wasted both Asawira and a Lasiq rifleman in a single attack, opening him a way into my rear area, and clear LoF to my Barid Lt.
At this moment I had, like, 3 models left on table, and called it quits.
