I see a lot of prototype terrain. Any idea when they'll be for sale? I'm especially interested in those curvy wall sections.

Those were done as a quick mock up for the tournament. Alas they will become banners of sorts in near future.

I see somebody beat me to DS forums :) .
It's a transportation company building / dice tower.
The elevator works, is open-able and fits both 25mm and 40mm figs.
Hopefully we will do a prototype next week.

It looks excellent :)

However, it seems the interior is not meant to be accessible, despite that door on the ground floor side... the only flaw I observed.

If I may suggest anything regarding that one (I guess it is still on a design board) - change that door int something that would not look like it was meant to move models thorough it :P

Personally, I'm all for that door. Gives the building a sense of realism.

I'd just paint a red light or something (indicated the locked status of the door).

Or give it red acrylics as fill-in?

Good idea though.

Consider it ordered as soon as it hits the store. So cool. I'm a big fan of dice-tower-acting-as-terrain and this is the best infinity-themed dice tower I've seen so far (I have on made out of deadzone terrain tiles, but it's pretty ugly compared to this beauty)

Okay. The designs of you so far have been cool and I really liked your copter thingy. But damn, this is outstanding!

For that door: maybe a heavy duty design makes it appear sturdy?

Thank you for the overwhelmingly positive reaction to our last project. We will push for the prototype as soon as possible.

Today something smaller - a guard booth and a barrier.

Excellent!

You're cranking out projects like crazy :D And this kind of small models is, I think, what the market is short of.
Also, it is great to see that you're dealing with the interioir access problem - either it is not awkward (like in the guard booth) or not really needed (dice tower - most of the volume is playable, without a need to dismantle the building (or not needed anyway, as it is the dice well) :)

For that guard booth, you might consider armoring up the top area? As a guard booth, it would be moderately well fortified and those small rails aren't going to grant cover.

It would be partial cover as I understand it.
Don't want to spoil the design - let's have some variation on the battlefield - some top floors TC some PC.

For TC get inside that booth :)

I'd bet most guard booths aren't designed to stop bullets, but to provide weather protection for the guard inside.

Total Cover means you can't be shot at. There is no LoF when a model is in Total Cover.

Partial Cover means you get the +3 ARM and -3 to being shot at.

I think that top part suits well for observation duties, and the bottom part is designed for defence.

I would happily grant cover behind those railings. I usually clear these things before the game and can live with any agreement.

I love what you folks are showing here - how long until it shows up in the store. I've noticed the benches and street sets are now out and they look awesome brilliant. Looking at this on pay day is bad for my wallet...

The Guard Tower set looks like a great looking gate post. In the real world a support weapon would be placed on top to cover a vehicle as it was being searched - or provide long range support fire to anything happening out of sight of the man on ground. Those pretty much provied visual cover. Places like KAF do not set up armoured gate posts. Folks would have had to already be screen prior to getting that close to base. Behind the gate post is the protected bunkers with bigger 'response options' including hull down vehicles.

I think this thing is awesome. Heck in the future if they have armour light weight, easy to deploy, guard shelters - I could see that being used. If the option to close the windows - ala having window covers. Open is PC, Closed is FC. Spend an action - hack the windows, engineer the window, etc... to drop a degree of cover. Sounds good to me.

Keep up the brilliant work.

It looks awesome.

Great stuff. Hope I can afford it soon, with all those interesting stuff coming up everywhere..

Just one fear I have ... is the dice tower tray accesible well enough? With it being placed below the heliport (I assume thats where the dice come out?!) it might be a little cramped and concealed. But its hard to say from pictures alone.
