Infinity Dice Calculator

Hi everyone, I just wanted to officially announce that I have created a new dice probability calculation tool for Infinity. It is available at http://inf-dice.ghostlords.com/.

I assume that most of you have already used Infinity Math; I have as well - it is a great tool and served as a significant inspiration to me. Let me start by telling you what the new features my tool brings to the table are:
  • Ability to calculate multiple dice for both players - Total Reaction, Link Teams, Neurocinetiks, Suppressive Fire, etc. All of these can be examined using this tool.
  • Complete model database, imported from Aleph Toolbox. You don't have to remember or look up stats and abilities in order to use this tool.
  • First strike effects - Combat Camo, Martial Arts, etc.
  • Full set of ability modifiers built in - Cover, Camo, Range, iKohl, Visibility Zones, you name it.
  • Hacking, including EVO Repeater Support Program bonuses.
  • More ammo types, including Fire, Adhesive, E/M, etc.
  • And so much more!
There are still some game circumstances that I have not yet implemented, but are on my todo list. These include a few of the tricker ammo types (Plasma and N+E/M, for example) and less common abilities that have more complex rules.

Feel free to poke around and try different combinations. I will continue to develop new features and post about them in this thread. Any feedback is welcome, either here, via PM, or through the email address on the page itself. I hope that you find this tool helpful to your enjoyment of the game.

In case anyone wants to play around with calculating stats for N3 Shotguns, I added the option for a +6 weapon range if you select "Custom Weapon".

I'm not going to make any full-on N3 changes until I have the actual rules book/PDF in my hands.

Today's update: X Visors now adjust the range bands of weapons for the units that have them.

Added a new "Additional Modifiers" box that can be used to calculate N3 Surprise Shot or any other unanticipated situation. It allows the entry of any value from -12 to +12.

This is awesome. Was about right some this for calculating myself, and found yours. Well done.

One thing I noticed is that it does not take into G:Remote Presence's two levels of unconscious. Thanks for the app though its very useful.

I think many things are still tuned to 2nd Edition. Toad has been updating the app consistently with new updates on the N3 rules, but when the entire tome landed, he and Apollo have spend most of their time on MayaNet, the Infinity Army Builder for iPad. :)
But, that's from what I gathered from all over the forums. You might be right. ;)
