I don't shame dice.

I light them on fire.
“I'm curious, son. When has 'This might be a trap' ever stopped you?”
“Stopped? Never. Slowed me down while I load the guns? Every time.”

I don't shame dice, either. My dice have NO shame, and DGAF about gaining any.

I know why my dice hate me, though. It's for those years (nay, decades) they sat, ignored, in a drawer as those " 'Orrible D&D things". Now, when I 'need' them, they see it as comeuppance. "Oh, NOW you NEED us?". Heh, how's them apples? "

Regardless of what statistical theory says about dice, my dice don't care - and often give the finger to theory. Practice differs from theory in that in practice, the theory doesn't always pan out.

Putting dice for 24h in salt to purify them. Or sunlight. Or energy transfer. Or whatever. The methods are many.

But the best one is making them aware that if they misbehave I have 20 other dice and new ones are 2 PLN a pop. They have to know they're replaceable :v:

I view my dice as honored brothers in arms, thus to shame them is to bring dishonor to myself!
