Laser Fences

Laser fences. A couple of terrain producers have them in their inventory.

I'm wondering what kind of rules you guys are using for these - if any.

Let it rip!

*Not my work those are Maestro's but yes their BP Laser terrain fences

The Basics

  • Blocks Line of Fire but not Line of Sight.
  • So you can't shoot through them while active but you can use such skills as alert.
  • They act as buildings/solid cover when you trying to do parabolic fire so they have a shadow zone the same as their height.

More Rules!

  • Add -3 BTS to all Hacking performed through them.
  • +3 to the opposed WIP roll for Sepsitor.
  • Any Hacker can deactivate them if within their ZoC or the ZoC of a repeater at -3 WIP.
  • Any Engineer or Hacker can deactivate them if in B2B contact with a normal WIP roll.

Ohh and depending on the doors and the scenarios they might be the normal open ones or the secured ones .... something somewhere in the rules about doors I can't be arsed finding them right now.

Those are awesome! Both the fences and the rules. :D

Systema fences also have generators. Maybe there should be rules for hacking those generators (or blowing them up!) and taking all the fences offline. Oh, the scenario possibilities!

BPLaser.
If not worth saving, is it worth rewriting? What is more, was it worth writing?

This is Data Sphere. Do plug away!

With that in mind: would you consider it rude if I elaborated on your rules (which echo some of my own ideas) in a blog post for Systema?
