What to do

Hi All

we had a bit of a confusing situation last night and wasn't sure what the correct way to deal with it was.

My Friends 200pt game (still learning) had a Sogarat Tempest Reg with Fauerbach as his LT. the lt got made unconscious during his reactive turn.

as the whole force is Morat the whole force still generated their own orders to be used by themselves. at this point we used one of these orders to use the Automedkit to heal the LT and he got back up. we then acted as normal as the lt is ok and he generated only 1 order.

i feel like we made a few errors and wanted to check what we should have done.

In my mind at the beginning of the turn their was no LT so no order should have been able to be spent on the AutoMedkit. is this wrong??
If you can spend and order to use automedkit without electing a new LT first does the now conscious LT remain the LT?? if yes does he then generate 1 order or 1 order plus LT order??

as you can see for beginners this was a challenge

I think that this should have played out as follows...

- The Morat rule means that each model would generate his own order, which they can only use on themselves.
- Two of those orders can be used to create a new Lieutenent.
- At this point the remaining orders can be used on any model in the force. So you can use the automedkit to revive to Sogarat.

I don't have the rule books to hand to check so I could be wrong, if I am I'm sure that someone will jump in and correct me.

Ok storm is pretty close in my mind.

Lets ignore the Morat (Religious) rule as it makes no difference here. As a religious order can only be used on the model who created it. Basically its a fancy Irregular order that is only created to be used in a Loss of Lieutenant situation. The Sogarat Tempest Reg who is a Morat and therefore Religious was however unconscious at the start of the turn so he has no Religious/Irregular order to use at all. Thus we will ignore it.

Whats important is your friend still had 2 Regular orders to use. These two regular orders can be used to elect a new lieutenant OR any other way he sees fit as they are normal regular orders. So he is well within the rules when he decided to elect to use 1 regular order to successfully restore his Lieutenant from unconscious to active w/ 1 wound.

That does not restore his full order pool or anything to that effect. It just means that at the start of his next turn his order pool will return to normal. So when his Sogarat Tempest Reg got back up is only had 1 possible regular order left to use and other orders needed to be used by the other Morats who created them. Allow each model a single activation!
