Tunguska Sectorial?

by superskilly » September 10th, 2013, 1:01 pm

Hi guys,

Are any of you interested in a Tunguska Sectorial Army?

I keep going through the books and its something that keeps grabbing my attention.

What would you like to see from them?

Personally, I'd like the Interventors and Spektrs updating as the minis don't match how cool their fluff is.

After that, fancy stuff as they could afford it!

Moved the thread here from Rumours, considering it's not really a rumour. Though Tunguska is rumoured to get a sectorial. ;)

Anyway... I would LOVE a Tunguska sectorial. Politics and hackers? Yes, please. I love the Spektrs and Interventors. I have no idea what else they should throw in there, though.

Maybe something 'Enforcer' like to go with the 'mob' aesthetic and access to MERCS.

I also see them maybe having something fancy or 'experimental' or access to more E/M weapons to show their tech war pedigree/bankroll.

Even though I don't play Nomad, Tunguska is probably the sectorial I'd most like to see. A Haris link option for Securitate would be great, really complimenting their SS2. They wouldn't be as straight-up good as Odalisque, but I could definitely see all sorts of possible shenanigans with an interventer hacker using a Haris link as repeaters.

I'm curious to see what other info-war units they come up with. I'd love to see an EVO repeater on a unit with weapons.

hmm, evo repeater light/micro tag or HI maybe? With AVA 2 hehehe. Maybe a standard Tag with a GML and Multi HMG.

T/O or ODD superjump linkable unit w/ repeaters - this is the big one, coupled with the ones above would be deadly with an Interventor or two

COBRA like troops (ie implanted weaponry, cybernetic enhanced reflexes, metal bone laminate, etc). probably an AVA 1, neurocinetics, meta-agility, hyper-dynamics L2, NWI, with 2 assault pistols and an AP/multi Rifle. as tung is info war, probably a repeater. while a LI/MI they can be hacked and shut down, needing an engineer to restart them, same goes for EM. Anything effecting organics will effect them as well. naturally it would cost as much as a tag...but very hard to hit and full burst on reactive turn.

uhh sounds nasty  As Nomad Player I would like that :nomad:
I only played Vanilla Nomads but a Tunguska Sectorial could be very interessting. I like Hacking very much. My Hackers (Interventor und Custodier, sometimes also a Spektr) have often won me my games.
