Terrakami’s Consoles

Today we take a look at Terrakami’s Consoles and some other new products of the Terrakami range! Terrakami is mainly known for their amazing trains (here/here/here)

ITS-Consoles
First are two consoles ideal for the ITS players that want something more than a 40mm token on the table.
Terrakami has two types of consoles. One big console that comes with a 25 and a 40mm sized square tile and a set of two small ones.

Both have their merits for ITS players. The big ones really make a good and sturdy console for ITS tables. The square tiles might not work legally with the round tiles needed in ITS, but the sizes are easy to work with. Just a little cardstock 40mm round underneath it and it will look ace on the table! 🙂

Stick a 40mm base on the bottom and Bob’s your uncle!

These come with two acrylic pieces; one as keyboard, the other as screen. It’s a detailed design, and the legs of the console slid into the pedestal to make it a very strong little console.

The two small ones work best with some spare 40mm bases from CB themselves. You can buy them separately. 😉 Stick these two consoles on the 40mm bases with some PVA glue and you’re good to go. Again, these look ace on an ITS table, giving the objectives more of a presence than just some 40mm round tiles.

Amazingly simple, right?!

The design is amazingly simple; just four small pieces of MDF and one acrylic screen. The four MDF-pieces can make a foot and a little placeholder for the acrylic screen. I’m impressed! I’d recommend these for anyone who needs to fill 8 tables with consoles.

Tactical Table!

Yep! Definitely my favorite!

Last of the consoles but certainly not the least, the Tac-Desk. My favorite of the line! A console that shows a tactical-table, like the ones you see in Star Wars and other sci-fi conflicts. It’s a table, in scale with the 28mm range of Infinity. It’s my favorite from the range, and while it has less usability than the other consoles, I heartily recommend this table as it’s a nice little detail on every table!

A boarding action on a spaceship? This console makes on of the rooms a great tactical war-room in the center of the ship. A city table where High Command has set-up a small forward base because they had intel of an incoming attack. Or what about a Silk Refinery on Bourak? The console functions as a 3D holographic overview of the mining operations. That’s the fuction of my Tac-Desk! 😉

The design is very simple and is very straight to the point: one ring as table edge, 2 legs and a tile on the bottom. The acrylic inset of the desk shows a grid with 2 circles and some pointers, making it effective for an console showing an overview of conflicts/operations or perhaps locations of planets, if you like. A lot of options and usability for such a tiny piece. It makes an Infinity table or a room on the table instant characterful. It comes in many colours, so no doubt you’ll find one to your liking!

Terrakami’s Order tokens

Look at that design!

At last we have a look at Terrakami’s Order Tokens. One word; great! Not only are they colour-coded (Green = regular/yellow-orange = Irregular/red = Impetuous/Blue = Lieutenant Order), they also have the designs of each order cut out in the tokens. Usable by colour blinds too! 😉 They’re all hexagons, to fit even more into the Infinity Universe. 🙂

The set comes with 1 Lieutenant, 10 regular, 5 Irregular and 5 Impetuous orders. The set is amazing and very clever and easy designed, although I’d recommend two sets now that Infinity went even more in the dual Combat Group lists than before. And it will leave with enough Irregular/Impetuous to field 2 combat groups filled with Kum bikers. For those who are into that kind of sick, perverse.. you know! 😉

  1. The tables are cool, but the thing I like most is actually the ‘garden’ thing in the first picture. Took some searching to find it is the systema scenery enclosed garden, maybe useful info for other readers as well.

Ah, yes indeed. I didn’t mention it. Sorry about that. It’s indeed Systema’s Enclosed Garden set.

Edit: if you have similar questions in the future, just shoot me a quick PM, and I can help you out in most cases. 😉

  2. I had fun hunting it down, actually ordered a copy of the garden which should arrive later this week.
