Starting with Tohaa
List #2: Hello Loners!
Tohaa fiction says that those who aren’t part of a triad are considered as outcasts. The Tohaa also are the bio-engineers of the universe and they have ‘exhalted’ many species to work for the Tohaa. We’ll take a look at them in this list.

This list brings some of the worst ARO units you’ll encounter in the Tohaa army. The Chaksa and Nikoul. Both very hard to dislodge. You can bring two Triads in this list, so mix and match whatever you like.
The Nikoul Ambush Unit does what it says on the tin. It is a Sapper, with Symbiont Armour, and a viral sniper rifle. A long range death-dealer that is a terror for everything that’s low on BTS. He has an MSV1, allowing it to ignore Mimetism and Camouflage mods, as well as Low Visibility zones. It also halves the modifiers of TO Camo, ODD, going from a -6 to a -3.
The Sapper allows the Nikoul to dig itself into the ground, so where-ever you place the model, it will count as having partial cover. Even if you drop it in the wide open. This is a good thing, as sometimes you see a great firelane, but do not want to use it as it exposes your model too much. Not anymore. Symbiont Armour even allows it to keep going after a lucky ARO from your opponent.. an ARO which has probably killed his model as a Viral Sniper Rifle is nothing to sneeze at. 😉
The Chaksa function as the biological Remotes and Servants of the Tohaa. The Chaksa HMG is a biological kind of Total Reaction remote. Not really, as his Neurocinetics cap his Burst in your Active turn to one. Keep that in mind. Moving the Chaksa to a better place while your opponent can draw LoS will probably result in a dead Chaksa. But when your opponent tries to dislodge the Chaksa, he can expect a full HMG burst in the face… Not bad, not bad!
You might wanna correct the Poison for the Ectros there, it doesn’t work like that in 3rd edition!

great job enjoyed reading and learning about the tohaa as a beginner it helps alot . explaining the working of the units also once again nice work .
I’m playing Tohaa and totally enjoyed reading this article. I was amazed by the Rasail troops by their look, but now with 3 wounds, I will get them for sure…

Just a heads up, Kumotail can’t repair Symbiont. Nothing in N2 can. N3 adds the possibility to heal Symbiont (with Symbiobombs) but you can’t do it many times.
