How to start with the Caledonian Highlander Army

List #1: Straight from the box

This list is to get you started and contains all models from the starter box plus some models that you will certainly find useful later. The total number of models is a convenient 10.

2 Volunteers with chain rifles

1 volunteer with Rifle

1 Volunteer with HMG

1 William Wallace Lieutenant

Your link team.  Volunteers with chain rifles are dirt cheap order providers. The HMG may be the cheapest machine gun in the game. William Wallace is simply awesome with his inspiring leadership, smoke  and fighting abilities.

1 Volunteer Infiltrator with Rifle

A bit of a hit and miss model. He has to risk failure when trying to infiltrate. If he does, he will be a good sidekick for the SAS.

1 SAS with boarding shotgun

Useful infiltrator. As the trooper is a short range fighter, he needs some practice to be used efficiently.

1 Higlander Grey with HMG

A nice looking model, but its weaponry simply does not make logical sense. If you want to use a HMG, you don t want to have smoke in front of you and you don’t have use for a claymore sword. If you want to have a close combat fighter, you don’t want to spend extra points for an HMG.

1 Wulver with T2 rifle

Wulvers are good, but expensive. Good weapons, good close combat fighters, very manoeuvrable. The only S2 troopers with 2 wounds that Ariadna can field.

1 Cameronian

This is your first werewolf, learn how to use it. In the cover of smoke, a dog warrior can be in the enemy deployment zone and kill people in turn 1.
