Any Yoko Kanno soundtrack is excellent (Ghost in the Shell SAC, Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Darker than Black, Aquarion...), and the Japanese group L'Arc en Ciel (Moribito and Gundam 00) has a lot of good music, too.

The Kill Bill soundtrack is pretty good, too.

But playing Drowning Pool's "Bodies" during a killing spree, or Godsmack's "I stand alone" when it's time to break out the TAG-on-TAG violence, or even classic Queen.

Cyberpunk gaming MUST have a soundtrack.

Sadly, I'm not seeing any ~6cm tall models available on Hobbylink Japan. Looks like it really will need to be a scratchbuild. Based on the discontinued Bandai model, a 6cm Escaflowne would scale out to about 1/144, since the 1/48 model is ~17cm tall.

I have NO idea why anyone who works in a retail environment would think that heavy metal, death metal or metal of any kind would be acceptable to play at any level in a open for business store. The local GW used to play the same DragonFARCE track over and over (at least I think it was the same one - they all sounded the same to me, anyway. Derivative of 80s guitar wankery metal and amusing only if listening to it as a pisstake of metal in general). I try not to go into it these days, so I have no idea what they play.

I like to listen to the Metal Gear Rising soundtrack during battles ever since my Yuan Yuan w/Mono CCW chopped a TAG in half. The Bastion soundtrack has also hit the right chords for my Qapu Khalqi.

My friend's active turn is usually Russian Thrash Metal, which suits his Nomads pretty well.
