Link Team Tactics

just wondering what everyone's favorite tactics are for link teams. obviously they are very mobile, require only one order to move up to 5 miniatures, if not exactly as deadly as using a combined order.

In a recent game, I experimented with a 2 chain rifle, 2 boarding shotgun, Neko Domaru link team, and one situational tactic i discovered was sneaking along the side of a building till you are juuust out of sight of the units covering it, then with your final order, fanning your samurai out to cover and peeking the corner with the link leader to shoot whats there. in my case it was a knight of something or other and FO deFEARsen who fell nicely under my B2 Chain Rifle. The idea behind it is to set up a kill zone and deny an area with your last order as well as moving your spearhead apart so it cannot be smashed by a single rocket, etc.

The paradiso campaign and the new ITS missions are good examples of missions where its best to use link teams featuring specialists.

A great link is a 5 man Kaplan Tactical Service. I was running the following list for example is 102.

That bad boy has 2 Link Teams thanks to the rather nasty Sekban Haris 3 man link team in there.

The Kaplan Team was able to move across the board in one turn and activate 3 of the objectives not bad not bad at all for a single turn!
