Nomad Link Team's

by R2poland » September 1st, 2015, 9:58 am

I have a question about link team's of Nomad family.
Is it possible to have different type of units in one team?
All of them have Linkable.
Because I met with such situation on the battlefield and allowed for it because couldn't find anything wrong with this.

As far as I understand the only troops allowed to link with other units are the Qapu Khalki Hafza and some special case leaders in Adriana and PanO. Otherwise all the troops in a link team have to be the same.

http://wiki.infinitythegame.com/en/Link ... ops#Nomads here's the wiki for linkable troops. Remember, you can only make link teams when you are playing a sectorial army list.

As a rule of thumb: only models of the same unit can form fireteams together.

For example: Only Alguaciles (And Alguacile Vortex and Alguacile Vortex Lupe Balboa) can form a fireteam. Wildcats would be a different thing.

Note that you couldn't have two fireteams in Corregidor. In fact, the only factions that can have multiple fireteams are: USAriadna, Qapu Khalqi, Steel Phalanx, and Tohaa.

Note that vanilla factions cannot bring fireteams.

If you were playing against or with Bakunin, their linkable troops are:
- Moderators (one of them can be Vortex)
- Riot Grrls
- Reverend Healers
- Reverend Custodiers (one of them can be a Reverend Healer)
- Reverend Moiras (Cassandra Kusanagi and one Reverend Healer can also join the link)

Exactly but how i understand Riot Girls should form a Link Team not for example: 3 Riot Girl + 1 Revered Healer + Revered Custodier.
Is that right?
But the Riot Girls have ava 3 right? So there can be only a link of 3?

Yes, you are right regarding Link Team composition: unless there is a rule for a specific unit saying otherwise, a Link Team may be composed of one given unit members (note that this does not apply to Tohaa Triads, I don't remeber how ASS Enomotarchies work there).

You are wrong on Riot Grrls Availability. See, the Availability of most troops differ between a Sectorial and their respective Vanilla. In Riot Grrl case, it is AVA 2 in Vanilla, but AVA 5 in Bakunin Jurisdictional Command.

Therefore, they cannot form a Link in BJC at all (because 1. no Links in Vanilla, 2. AVA of 2 only), but in BJC they may form Link Team up to 5 Grrls strong.
It is Reverend Custodiers who have AVA of 3 in BJC, so they can make a Link of 3 at most. Well, theoretically at least, because - since you can have a Reverend Healer Linked with them (that's Rev. Healer's special rule in Bakunin), you could boost the team.

Safest and quickest way to check it is to launch the Army 5 Builder.

That there, there will be pure wine and honey and sugar
Fill up the wine cup and place it in my hand
(For) ready cash is better than a thousand credits.
