For the fourth time of using way lands games, I have to say I'm disappointed thoroughly.
In the first instance, I ordered P3 paints off them (I know...). I spend a lot of time Concocting paint schemes, I think I ordered about 8 paints for a specific colour scheme, which included shades and highlights etc.
How frustrated I was, when a package arrived several weeks after ordering, with maybe half the paints in. I immediately sent an e-mail, I got a response telling me not to worry, as they'd refunded the money for the paint I hadn't received. Well, that's not really the point. Cryx bane highlight is no bloody good on it's own in my carefully considered paint scheme. If I want to make a steak dinner, returning from the shops with just some sweet potato and asparagus is not going to complete the deal! ! If I want to get the paints I originally wanted, I have to pay someone else to ship them to me, making the whole process longer and more expensive. I told them what I though they should've done was refunded the entire amount if they couldn't complete my order. They did not respond.
When I decided to pick up my infinity stuff again, I originally was going to revamp my Pan O, I ordered a Jotum and some hexas. I waited over a month and in the end I'd had time to change my mind to Aleph, asked if I could change my order. Too difficult for their system, they had to refund and I had to order over again. This one at least was dispatched a few days later.
Over Xmas I ordered a bunch of stuff. Again over a month to arrive. It's Christmas, so I get it.
The fourth and final time, I make a point of checking their stock levels. I made a £55 order, everything I ordered was Showing a green light
From their site:
green light- High Availability: If in stock should ship in 1-5 working days, if not then 3-9.
I ordered on January 25th and still not shipped. Okay, time to send an e-mail. But it's not that simple. They have a 'ticketing' system, which seems a bit over-the-top. However, before I try and communicate with this company that have had my money for nearly a month, I read this
"We would ask that you don't raise tickets chasing up orders, in the vast majority of cases there is a perfectly valid reason and in broad delays we will update you on the status of your order by email proactively"
I hate to be too negative, but if I may summarise my experience.
You can have what you paid for in 1-3 days.
Possibly 3-9
After 18 working days, not a peep.
I would like to send an e-mail enquiry
Please don't.
To nitpick
"in the vast majority of cases there is a perfectly valid reason"
In my occupation, I have to do a lot of stuff that has a perfectly valid reason, but perhaps people don't always understand. I do my best to explain reasons to them, so that they might understand better. Saying there is a reason and explaining the reason are two different things. I'm sire the reason is "one item is out of stock and takes a while to order in." that's fine. Perhaps don't give it your famous green light then
"in broad delays we will update you on the status of your order by email proactively"
....
Has anyone else had experiences positive or negative? I can't really think of much good to say? For a company who's sole feature appears to be sending people their toys, they achieve success in the same way that Miss America successfully brings about World Peace.
