TRIPOD scoring
Tripod uses a 3-category scoring system that's standardized from mission to mission. Up to 4 points can be scored in each of 3 categories: Objectives, Morale, and Classifieds. The game ends in turn 4 or at the end of the turn in which a player has scored at least 1 point in each category.
TRIPOD specialists
Tripod uses the standard ITS specialists. However there are 2 new options, each using Command Tokens.
In the event that a player has no other Specialists in a non-Null state, a player may spend a Command Token to nominate 1 specialist. This troop must be eligible as a LT and may not have an SWC cost. This troop gains the Specialist skill for 1 turn.
If a specialist fails a WIP roll to interact with an objective, his player may spend a command token to re-roll the result.
PDF below has 9 missions for the first 'season' of tripod. When these are all playtested and proofread and ready to go in the can, a new season will start with new missions:
