Stiopa is writing an after-action report, but in short - I got away with 7 Objective Points, and 151 army points, winning the mission (by a narrow margin though).

So, Radek, next time it is you and me... damn, a horde of crazy Japanese...

Promotion roll unsuccessful.

Remind me - did we settle for a house rule that at least 50% of the Objective Points / XP have to be spent on a Spec Op, or it is still free for all to load it into Command Ability?

Well i am not sure it obligatory, but i got 6 xp, Also i will give 2 xp to spec ops to make him engineer and 2 xp for the "moar" army points command. That will leave me with 1 free for spec ops and 1 to command in stock.

Also how does Friday 18:30 sounds for a game? If Gomez will be the closing one then he wont mind being little late for a convenience of being lifted :)

And so I'll have to fight Fred. Let me know when can you make it. How about Saturday or Sunday?
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but shouldn't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem deal with itself?

So still no set answer to the VP question, though seems we are in no-limit territory: Stiopa doesn't recall any agreements limiting VP spending, Radek is not sure...

Fred, what's your take on it?

Since we're playing winner vs winner and loser vs loser, I assume that we won't be utilising "Tied Operation" rule in 102?

Quite contrary, I suppose.

A winner is the player with more Objective Points in the previous scenario.
In case of a tie there, victor would be determined by the amount of army points left on table.

Guys, I had a word with the crew at Wrota yesterday. They say they can get the Infinity stuff for us, as they say "wholesale" (whatever that means).

I said them that if they can give us the better prices than we get from Wargamer (well, or at least on the same level), I'm all for it. Due to the chaos caused by Wargamer's recent reduction of prices (what Piezrasty wrote about), it wasn't possible to determine that possibility right away.
I assume that they will be able to get their cut and still offer us a fair price - thus keeping everyone satisified.

While I do vote with my wallet, I see no reason to buy online if I can support our friendly LGS by buying from them - assuming the price and delivery time is right. The primary problem with previous LGS was they didn't had stuff in their offer, and delivery times tended to be pretty long.

Also, keep in mind that after the price reduction in Wargamer, they've limited the discount for CB models to 3% max. While I'm theoretically entiteld to better dicount, -3% from the webpage price is best we'll get in regard of CB stuff.

I am all for supporting LGS. If prices at Wrota are max 10% higher than Wargamer after Err's discount then i am all in. Sad that we had already placed order, btw when can i expect mine crazy Jap characters? :)

Within next week, I guess. Wargamer lacks a pack of 55mm bases Fred requested (it will be delivered separately), the rest should get to their HQ (some stuff from their shop in Warsaw is dragging it's heels) between today and Friday, I suppose.

Oookay, I've lost to Radek. Minimally, though. A couple of unlucky rolls in the beginning, a handful of lucky ones later (couldn't change the outcome, but at least kept them form getting any worse).

4 VP for me, 5 for Radek.
Promotion roll successful (for me). Spent 2 XP on extra army points speciality.

It was a long and damn exhausting battle...

I'm still waiting for Stiopa after he cancelled last Sunday.
Have we agreed on what happens when we can't get a game in for a week?

No, we haven't.

And I consider 1 week per campaign turn to be too tight schedule, really. C'mon, we do have real lives apart form the game - we're no longer high school kids with the immense loads of free time we had back then. It should be 2 weeks at least.

Shiny, if we can make it go around faster, but don't place bets on that happening!

Give Stiopa some extra time.

Guys, I'm planning myself some social life next week, so I'd be grateful if you'd let me know about possible campaign game next week ASAP (I assume it will be known no sooner than Sunday after your game). Apart from the usual Saturday I have Friday available too (most of the time at least...including next week as of now).

Since I lost the game yesterday, I'll be playing against the one of you who gets second place on Sunday.

On unrelated news - I'm getting Info Hub and Alien Consoles from MAS. Anyone interested in getting them painted? They could use 40mm bases, too, if anyone has some to spare (my supply dried out) - I'm afraid I'm not going to make any purchases in any store carrying these any time soon (but I'd happily join a purchase should someone be placing an order).

Edit: I got the ITS2015 printed, I should be able to drop it at the store in a few days.

6 xp for spec ops he is Engineer and doctor, also have hacking device.
2 xp for the spam command (extra 5 army points)
4 xp waiting to pump up more army points, because there is never enough Japanese :)

Have you managed o play your game or Warmachine tournament was too loud?

We did fine, although I can't imagine how one can complete the 102 triangulation while simultaneously fighting off enemy forces without going for the horde. There's simply too much to do, especially if your specialist/servant/repeater goes down and you have to retrieve the data...

Anyway, I won with 4 points to Fred's 2. It was a pretty even fight for most of the match, no critfests, no glaring mistakes for opponent to exploit.

So, as I can see, I'm playing Fred next?

I know that Wednesdays are off limits for you.
How about Friday, March 21st? Quite a way to clebrate First day of Spring, wouldn't it be?

If I understand the chart correctly those players with most VP from both first missions play 103? To quote CP: "The third scenario is the chapter's ending and will be played only by those winners who got the better score in this chapter." After that those players go directly to 201, while other two play 202.

And one more thing: From what I see promotion roll is unnecessary when we want to use just a single Military Specialty for now. It is used to unlock more specialties. Or am I wrong?

Well, that would mean it would be me playing with Radek again (I have 11 XP total)...

And Stiopa, yes, if you want to advance the single military speciality you've chosen at the beginning, I see no need for you to go for Promotion Rolls.
