Yes, we've been there.

Impressions?

In my eyes, A+.
Clean, well-lit, spacious, silent place. I'm all for moving there wholesale.

We have a lot of storage space - the main box did fit on the shelf like it was made for it. Therefore, gentlemen, we've left the MAS mat and the large box in the Wrota.

One caveat: low noise level and cultured behaviour is modus operandi there.
Therefore:
- shouting,
- cursing,
- overtly loud talk
are all frowned upon. Nota bene as we've been there, there were 6 or 8 other folks playing card games and what-not, and they were virtually silent. Not like back in Fenix where they are used to shouting and yelling.

Therefore Gomez (who's shop assistant there) informed us politely that he's intending to follow Roosevelt's policy* toward shouters. I hope we can adapt to these rules?

* that is, speak softly. And carry a big stick.

Oh, and one more thing. The FAQ and weapons for HS/CP are up. You might want to look into it.

There are a few changes, but the whole thing with leaving HS/CP valid feels extremely lazy. Now we need three books and a FAQ to juggle, instead of one, clearly written and indexed rulebook. Sight.

Equipment and skills got almost no changes, there are two FAQ pages in all. Weapon changes are all nice, especially Guided MSR. You're going to hate that thing.

I'm a sad Azra'il, man. The Feuerbach is nothing special these days.

Besides.... the update seems to be half-baked. Really.

My thoughts exactly. But I like the changes to EVO.

I'm out on Saturday, I'll be happy to play with someone on Wednesday.

I'm ready to play on Saturday at 11.00 200pts YAMS. We couldn't play with Stiopa last Saturday so i'm hungry of dice rolling, besides my Magister in N3 is extremely impetous so he can't wait to use Panzerfaust more than before :hehe:

I'm looking forward to buying their box set. 5 Magisters in a link will be a real PITA :D

Sign language seems OK ;) As for other ideas... buddy, you don't want to know. Especially after some fragments of conversation we had with Gomez yesterday ;)

@ Stiopa, I've printed two sets of Silhouettes today, I'm in process of preparing them. No need to look for the previous sets.

I'll need some spray varinsh to seal them, though.

@Err I recommend the cheapest hairspray you can find. Most times you'll even get the choice between glossy and matt

Get some transparent adhesive foil from an artist store, it's awesome and quite cheap.

Will it work on a 1mm cardboard's edges?

On an unrelated note - we've tested the new houserules concering buildings (no LoF thorough doors and windows unless you are BtB with them).

Seems playable, but the large warehouse's main gate tends to be confusing about in that matter.

We have to try it with opening doors and windows (but we need to use markers for that).

No, but it's thick/stiff enough not to require it.

My usual options are: A. print on 250-280g card stock, glue the foil onto it (I use the matte transparent one), work it over with scissors/knife handle/other hard & blunt object (hard to explain, but basically to get it to stick properly, like normal stickers), cut out, done. Option B as above, but PVA-glue 1-2mm card as backing (weight it down and wait to dry properly) before cutting. Leave the sides unfoiled.

Option A served me well for most templates, option B is awesome for cheap tokens. I just printed out Magic Realm so we'll see how well it holds up with a whole game :suicide:

And if you tend to fondle/bend the templates excessively, you may want to look in the Wargamer trading section ASAP for a cheap local alternative ;)

Have you moved the rest of our stuff there, or is there anything left in Fenix?

I see.

My timetable is a bit full these days, so I'd be glad if someone else could get the stuff moved before the end of the week. There's the other mat and three or four of the smaller boxes left. This would allow me to terminate the rental agreement with the end of January.

I'm in for a game on Wenesday. Any ROE, though I think it is best to stick to 300pts YAMS for the time being.

I'm going Bahram this time.

@ Stavrogin - excellent news. I'll drop in on Wenesday to take the leftover stuff if for some reason you wouldn't be able to take everything a day earlier, and to return the key.
