You can also use a hacker with trajectory assist program (or whatever it is called now) to het another +3 PH.
For akalis, this means AD succeeding on a 17 or less. No data on the Crusader Bretheren as of yet, naturally.

Yeah, it's not like the pad's gonna be covered by a reaction bot or a TO sniper :v:

I doubt Crusader will change much if at all.

Incidentally, one of my projects has a built-in landing pad. Will see much use, I believe. Units covering landing zones can be dealt with... :D

It is not a coincidence!

As for landing areas - I'll make a helipad especially for you. One day :)

Seems i haven't paid enough attention to reading new rules. So if you can just climb and get throu window to those monkeys well then i thing case is closed :) if you can just spend one order to climb and get thru window...

I'll pass, too.

Radek, do you keep your hand on the "Wrota" issue? IMO as soon as they settle out the storage issue, we could move over - and should move over.

On unrelated matter - with regret I do observe that I have my fingers in far too many pies. Between cutting the cardboard and working on some other projects (and after all, I have other things I do in life, too :P) I struggle to paint my own miniatures. And then I have a terrain painting project left unattended.

Not enough time.

Therefore, guys, perhaps somebody would like to take it over from me? There's the Systema MDF set waiting to be painted, and I can supply you with all the paraphernalia - brushes and paints. The paints are artists' acrylics - non-smelly and water soluble, you won't be running into trouble with your family using that...

Sorry to butt in, but I spoke with them on Tuesday and they confirmed that there is a space for our terrain in the backroom. However it will require 2 boxes and lower than what we have now in Fenix. It would be advisable to come around and take measurements - I can do that on Friday evening.

I can volunteer - however no promises will be made on delivery time as my situation is somewhat similar to yours.

Regarding "Wrota" - that's excellent news. Please check the dimensions, and I'll get suitable boxes. Maybe in Castorama.

As for painting - whoa, Fred, take it easy. You already have one of my painting projects on your hands... and keep in mind I make more... I hopa one of our other members cold take on that!

By the way - I found a (crude, but working) army builder for N3. A variant to the good ol' Aleph Toolbox -> http://anyplace.it/ia3/ia.html

I will be also tomorrow at "Wrota" playing WM so just in case i will be there.

Regarding painting, if you are able to explain me how to use brush and paint then i have time to do that. Just keep in mind that in regard to painting, mine IQ and creativity is lover than Jonny Bravo...

Didn't watched Johnny Bravo, but... my friend's 3-years-old daughter does manage with her coloring books and pencils.

You want to say you can't do the same with 3-d models of buildings, brushes and paints...? Well, I guess I can arrange with lil' Zosia to give you some private lessons :P
Seriously now - sure, I'll explain it to you, and show you how this is done. No problem.

I'm playing two games on Saturday already, so maybe someone else :P I was reading through the profiles already, no giant changes, but nice nevertheless.

@Stavrogin - that changes the setup, we're playing N3 profiles only. Forget N2 :P

@Stiopa: now we don't need to combine and play full N3 game. I agree, no big changes. I'm happy with much cheaper Magister Knight: light shotgun, better CC for 23 points :). I'll propably bring my own buildings, until saturday is little bit time so maybe I would finish them.

Ok so i was in "wrota" They can give us 2 shelves 32 cm High, 90 cm deep and about 100 cm long.

That could mean we can put terrain out of big box and take only needed terrain for each game therefore less difficult packing after game.

I would suggest to take out terrains bring them to "Wrota" and check if its a good idea to change place. If somethings goes wrong we can always go back to Fenix.

Actually, as our terrain accumulates I'd go for packing every table worth of terrain in separate box. Would be even easier to manage.

On a side note, Ewok can't make it tomorrow, so I'm left without opponent around 13:00. Anybody free and willing to play? 300/YAMS.

I agree.
This way we can keep 1-2 tables worth of terrain at Fenix, same at Wrota and will probably still have some left for games at home (in time).

:didactic: A Cardbuilding #3 standard terrain piece (building) is about 1,95 liter, including roof piece. Judging from the last Saturday experiment, four such buildings make a little thin (but acceptable) terrain for a half of a table (remember, they had only two roofs available).

My guesstimation is that 8-10 such buildings, plus all the content inside, plus a large building containing 4-6 buildings (which doesn't significantly increase the volume) would make for a good table's worth of terrain. That would be, I guess, between 20 and 25 liters total per table's worth.

Assuming we want all the tables to consist of the same modules, my math says we could do with 22,4 table's worth of terrain before we run out of the allocated 560-liter space. :didactic:

I must say you underestimate how neat we can pack the stuff! :P

Naturally, the above is merely a theoretical excercise, because
primo, I'd be long fed-up with Cardbuilding before I ever came near 22-tables-worth of terrain, and
secundo, this style is good, simple, practical and easy on the eyes, but having that much of terrain all in the same style would be dull and boring like hell, and
tertio, even I would love to see some vatiation on our tables!
:P

Due to the overpresence of the card fondlers we were unable to play a game today. How about we see the Wrota for ourselves next Wednesday?

From my 10 minutes visit there today I've seen small Netrunner tournament (quiet and serious 6-8 people), few Spoils player sitting around, playing (incl. Radek), large boardgame in progress, and there was still place for a full scale Infinity table to be set up comfortably.

First impression: jaw on the floor. Perfect playing enviroment for our needs. Big box and one playing mat are there already, you might want to move rest of our stuff there.
