I agree - Paradiso is just another way to play Infinity. The difference is like that between Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Rainbow Six (Rogue Spear or Raven Sheild - not Vegas 1&2). Some are run and gun, others are more leathal and planned, and there are games inbetween... it's player preference. I'd wouldn't call Paradiso garbage.
I like ITS and my group is gona try out Yams until N3 drops and we get our mits on it. We've been planning to play the full Paradiso Campaign but N3 pushed back the start date. Paradiso from our experience (playing one off missions or small blocks) goes very well, or if you don't put together the right team, very poorly. That's ok, because that's the play style with Paradiso, with moore operational level planning.
Some of us are military and we like the feel of planning out our teams and then adapting to the terrain. Sometimes we've seen a partial set up of the table (Major Buildings and Objectives) so we could plan like we do at work. Afterwards the extra smaller structures are placed, doors and windows are closed, and scatter terrain gets put down. We've had some great times playing Paradiso like that.
- just my 5 cents.
