And IRC can also be slow paced. All you need is a constant connection.

Scorch/Arachas, what do you guys think about adding a new section to the boards for that? Guess it could also fall into the realm of "Other Games", though.

Nah, I think the RPG can get his own section. I am planning to give it some good coverage on the blog, so I don't think it should be swept under by other games. It's enough Infinity to be considered a product of the game.
Play by post-section is a good idea, though!

I think that Infinity RPG should be story-driven rather than combat-driven game. I'm looking it fall towards storytelling boardgames (but I'm not experienced enough to write any prominent names).
I think that Data-Sphere's community would be a good gametesting platform and I believe that it could make significant investment into it's development.
I'm not any kind of RPG-player, but want to get fresh experiences. I'll take part in test/full games with "virgin noob" sign above my head. No doubt that Infinity RPG would be comfortable for veteran players, but if green noobs like me could manage to catch it on the fly then it will have really great potential.

Well, I'm not 100% sold on the "light wound" concept, especially it being specific to different body locations, and the ability to heal them with one's actions/ Chronicle Points
What I really dislike is the Dark Symmetry pool, I hope it won't have an equivalent in the Infinity version of the rules. I mean, if a Game Master needs to affect dice rolls result or throw a wrench into players' wheels, he just does so. He's the GM.
What I also dislike - there's no way to take skill checks easier than Average, and - moreover - the mechanics seems like they don't make it possible. You always need at least one Success to pass a test, and that's an Average test.
All in all - primarily hope that you don't turn it into a combat-oriented RPG...
