I guess getting two gaming days a week at the store is only going to get us good things regarding poularizing Infinity here :) I'm playing against Jonasz today :)

Good day to you all,
As representative of KGB Monolit I would like to organize once a month, in EXP, in Szczecin, small show of some battle games other than Warmachine and Warhammer 40k and I think Infinity is good for this month. I've already wrote to Errhile about it. Event should show Infinity (and later other games alike) to potential fresh meat, so I need about 2-3 plyers to describe fluff and rules to them and to play a game with minis (no proxes ofc). Term would be in about 2 weeks or maybe slightly more, I need to talk with EXP about details and it would be nice if someone from infinity could assist me as your voice.

OK, my take on the topic is:

1. We need 2-3 people for the show. 2 to actually play the game (fully painted minis strongly recommended. As I have 2 forces that are painted and complete with TAGs - a big eye candy - I am ready to provide these on as-needed basis), the third to explain stuff to the spectators.

2. We need to move the terrain form Fenix to EXP and back again afterwards. Not a task for a lone bicyclist, honestly, and I'd call it a job for at least 2 persons on foot. Rulebooks, too. IIRC I'm the only person around to have both Rulebook, Human Sphere, Paradiso and the Artbook. Though currently Rulebook and Paradiso are on lease.

3. We definitely need a fixed time & date. 2 weeks from now - I guess it can be done. But what day exactly, what hour, and how long it is to take? ArchonPL, this is definitely your part...

I can volunteer as a player/explainer - also can bring painted small force for demo play (like the ones from O:I).
If we know the date in advance I should be able to get a car for transporting terrain (but will still need second person to help carry stuff).
I'll be bringing your Paradiso soon Errhile, if you need it sooner you have my number.

OK, as I said, I have two fully painted forces to draw upon myself. Also, a pair of hands to help moving stuff there and back again :)

Now what we really could use is the 3rd player.

On an unrelated note - N3 preorder launches on Monday, CB says the suggested retail price is 60 EUR minus a few cents. I'll be getting this for sure. Who else is interested? The standard discount applies :)

If preorders will last for a month, I'd say we still have some time to make our minds up.

On Tuesdays i will be having now RPG sessions around 19:00, so not sure if i can help with the case. If i have time, then no problem with transporting and being the 3rd "one".

As for book, count me out, after finding a job first thing to buy would be Yojimbo, then 2 Aragotos, then Warmachine models so book is too far away on list to consider :)

Guys, a couple of announcements:

1. Please let the folks (primarily Blaszko and Swrvogin, should anyone see him! But if there is any more new blood, they shouldn't be excluded) know we've jumped forums. This happened during their summer vacation, and I'm afraid we're out of touch with them.

2. I am going to place an order at Micro Arts Studio end of the week. Anyone interested, please let me know via PM.

3. An order at Wargamer within 3 weeks (primarily dictated by the availability of September releases) is very likely. I remember that Blaszko expressed interest in snapping Konstantinos model from the "Dire Foes #4: Escape or Die", with me taking Yasbir and the Civvie. Also, if we roll well with this one, we have a good prospect of breaking into next discount level - pretty nice thing to have once N3 hits the shelves.

4. Should anyone see Jonasz, please give him a friendly kick to the bottoms ;) so he'd start using the forums instead of texting to agree upon a game (and doing it at zero dark thirty from a preparations point of view!) ;)

5. A split-box order at ChoKonnit is being discussed (in fact, we've reached Cho already and agreed upon it, now we should gather a list of what we exactly want). For those who don't know - Cho runs a box-chop-shop service: almost any model that is sold in a multi-model blister or box set can be obtained form him individually, for a right price.
Date is yet to be set.

1. I've notified Blaszko already.
2. Thanks but nothing for me for now from MAS.
3. If Blaszko won't, then I will gladly take Konstantinos off you
4. n/a
5. What are you splitting? :) I intend to wait for my Pano fix until new starter comes out as a separate set (separate from O:I). Unless you can get a really good price from ChoKo (then I'm interested in all PanO models from O:I, but only models)

As far as I can see, Cho's advantage is that you can get a single model from a set, the price isn't that advantageous.
But I got a request for a full O:I PanO set from Stiopa already, so we'll keep that going.

Also, I don't really care whom I'm going to split the Dire Foes with. If Blaszko isn't out there to strike a deal with me, I can just as well deal with you (you want only Konstantinos, I want the Civvie and Yasbir, which makes it a 1/3 to 2/3 split on the final price, the extras like art cards I don't mind at all, so if you want them, they're yours, and the mission itself will be downloaded, printed and stored at the terrain box anyway :)).

Errhile: thx for the remembering it. I think I'll be able to afford it somewhere next month, do you plan to place an order in nov/dec?
I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but shouldn't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem deal with itself?

Oh look who's out there!

There is no reason why we shouldn't place an order at Wargamer in December, but at this very moment I wasn't planning it yet. We have one running now (3 weeks to closure) and then N3 order that finished early November (and is likely to send in early to mid December).

Not good, to be honest. Though probably doable.

1. Fenix is closed on Sundays - this means we'd have to get our stuff from there a day before (or earlier) and bring it back the day after. Which means we have to have the logistics organized for two move out / move in dates, and include storage over that period.

2. Sunday tends to be my personal field day, I'd have to alter my schedule for the weekend in question. Which is doable, but not something I'd be happy about.

OK, just to remind you - keep me posted on what do you want from ChoKonnit's. And if I sent you a pricing (via PM), whether you accept it or not. We don't have a fixed date on this one, but I don't want to make it go longer than necessary.

Updating: Stiopa says he's on hold regarding Cho, and he won't give it a go earlier than next month at best.

On the other topic - guys, what's your status regarding October 26th Infinity introduction at EXP for the Monolit Club?
It is less than 2 weeks from now, we need to let ArchonPL know whether we are going to roll with it, or make him arrange another day, or what...

Well 26th is a Sunday so i could Take terrain from Fenix on Saturday put in into mine "RadzioMobile" then drive to EXP on Sunday. The only drawback would be getting Terrains Back to Fenix. Perfect for me would be giving them back on 30th on 17:00 as thats Time is usual for me and no parking fees. The other option is to arrange a game on 27th or 29th also 17:00 so no parking fees. Your call guys?

That could work.

Keep in mind that we have a new gaming mat in our shelf. But I guess we won't be needing both of these for the show.

26th is fine by me.
I can help with moving, transporting, unpacking whatevs - just give me a call beforehand.
I'd be glad to bring my force for the show :)
Have we agreed on demo size? I'd suggest setup similar to what's in O:I - 3 grunts, 1 heavy, 1 sniper, 1 camo (but only to hit modifiers for the sake of demo games)? And of course smaller battlefields.

So are we set for 26th?

I'd suggest a fully-blown 200-300pts game. Either a kill-out, or some kind of a mission (not YAMS though, as the objectives are hidden in this one).

Why the size?
We'll have two expereinced players facing each other, so it can go smoothly even with a big force.
Having a big game will also allow us to bring and show eye-candy and rules-intensive models, like TAGs, TO Camo, AD, Remotes and so on.

Maybe a second, small table on the side for demo skirmishes with 5-6 models per player - for demoing only?
