Very nice stuff looks good and simple but also very functional. To bad you are in Europe and I am in America, the world so needs to find a good solution to cost and time for shipments across the Atlantic. I know there is stuff of either side for all of us that we want.

I would take the left one. Boxy shapes always look functional. The right one reminds a little of a keyhole.

Yup, left one, too.

What is it meant to be, an one-man anti-grav transport?
Looks cool, but I can't tell the purpose of it. Defintely pilot-only, most likely a flyet, but the cockpit is proportionally very large, and there is little in the way of stuff that would make it move...

Those pods don't look like thrusters to you? I'd imagine that's some kind of light recon/scout vehicle, or indeed a personal transportation vehicle. It's the future man, flying cars everywhere.

If they were thrusters, I'd expect them to allow for vectoring the thrust. And they do not look like they were capable of it.

Left one is nicer, and the round stuff looks too much like the outdated Gazelle helicopter to me. By the way, great idea and filling a nice niche!

So, it is a nice, one-man spinner / jumpcraft / AV :) And let's keep to that :)

I second the applause for the niche! This is some awesome scatter terrain and can be subject of various missions. Or just standing in the way looking good :)

We've got the prototype done - the flyer will be available in both versions (in one box you'll get both options for one model). There will be plastic sheet and acrylic windows available as an add-on (probably different colors as well).

That sounds super-cool!

I'd just worry about the effect of multiple options on the price tag...

I'm a bit late to reply, but I'd like the rounded leading frame but with the rest of the greenhouse looking like the angular version. Though I could just hack the kit I buy.

You could do that but I'm afraid the acrylic windows won't fit anymore :( .
They will be as add-on anyway so if you can live without them it's fine.

News from the front - first sets of base overlays will soon be available for ordering in separate packs of 5 x 25mm, 2 x 40mm and 2 x 55mm.

Little teaser
Image

Other patterns will become available soon.

We've also put to the test a corridor / self supporting bridge system that we will expand with new sections in due course.

Image

That will become a fully fledged corridor system with all sorts of junctions, rooms and doors all modular and simple to rearrange.

Image

The straight sections can support themselves to form a bridge and can be connected and disconnected at will (no glue needed) to span longer or shorter distances. We will be testing T-junctions and cross junctions to see if they can work as a self supporting bridges.

Some elements will also be available in acrylics.

The base toppers... I'll have to see them done (i.e. painted on actual bases with actual figures)... but the corridor / bridge looks super-shiny already :D

I posted an initial review on the board: http://www.data-sphere.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=2322

I'm very happy with my order! I'm also looking forward to the next wave of products. In my review I already mentioned this, but I'm going to be so bold as to repeat it here: I would love it if you could look into products for a more vertical city district (like Hengsha from Deus Ex). I think -also because of the lack of interiors- your pricing allows for more buildings, so I'll order any new products to help me realise this :D

To clarify - the hab modules are traversible terrain, and with a few billboards and skybridges you can effectively create a more vertical table. Just a few ideas I'm thinking of building myself to help with this (but feel free to steal these ;) ):
- skybridges/walkways (more like the girders on the billboard) hanging below the first level of a building. This blocks LoS from the other side, as opposed to bridges level with or higher than the top of the building.
- some other, larger buildings to place the habs on, to create terrain with different vertical terraces. These could be larger habs, but I'm thinking more of municipal buildings.

Thank you for a great review Uriel - we will be expanding our HAB range with new stuff pretty soon so you'll be spoiled for choice.

Also - our beloved national Post has graced us with a new shipping options for foreign parcels - we will try to update our shipping costs within a week or so - it should cut the prices for packages up to 2 kilos in half.

O boy! Good to hear, and I'm curious what it'll be. Like I said in the review, you have some nifty ideas worked into the designs, that really work and add a lot of character!

We have worked out the design for our corridor system / self-supporting bridge which now includes all that you need to make your own SCI-FI dungeon crawler type of game. That's not the end though as we will expand it with rooms and possibility to go vertically as well, stay tuned.

It seems to be my bad luck, whenever I have invested serious money into one type of terrain (eg boarding action) there appears another offer that is at least as interesting.

Darn, I thought for sure I'd be among the 50 first customers to get that free robot model, but I guess I just missed it. It's also possible I just haven't yet found it among all the stuff, there's so many bags to go through :D I'll post pictures of the stuff I got once I've built them.

Those corridors/walkways look great, hopefully you'll be able to keep the price down on them too. You'll need a ton of them to build anything resembling a spaceship interior. Wouldn't mind seeing some rooms too, spaceships can't be just corridors.

Update: Found the bot, I just missed it as it was mixed with the other bags.

Send some samples to Miniwargaming or provide them with a few pieces in exchange for a review, they've already reviewed some other manufacturers so they might be open to that.

I just built my hab complex and military outpost, your quality is great and prices are unbeatable, you should get a good review.
