I would be very grateful if someone could tell me which paint was used to achieve the dark turquoise on THIS model.

This is Angels recipe for painting that color on all the older Pan O models- all vallejo paints.

basecoat: prussian blue + field blue + hull red
light 1: field blue
light 2. dark sand
light 3: white
shadow: prussian blue dark, black

I hope this helps

Angel uses a lot of mixes and layers, as well as very, very thin coats. There's probably at least one mixed stage between any two colors, and maybe more. Then each layer seems to be about the same color thickness as orange juice, so that you can partly see the previous color through the new coat.
“I'm curious, son. When has 'This might be a trap' ever stopped you?”
“Stopped? Never. Slowed me down while I load the guns? Every time.”

Mixed stages? I think he just does many many many near transparent layers as when asked he said pure black can be applied to different levels. This saves time as it dries near instantanly, requires no mixes (fast & repeatable... and why buy so many different paints otherwise?) and gives very smooth transitions when combined with brush direction. Bou posted a video of the method (Bou's, maybe Angel's too).
If not worth saving, is it worth rewriting? What is more, was it worth writing?

It's both, I think.

He likes to mix his colors and use very very thin coats. Lots of water and very small amounts of paint.
