Infinity Achievements

So, someone did something like this for Warmachine and I thought it was pretty neat; anyone down for coming up with Achievements for the various factions of Infinity? For example;

Achilles Heel: Kill Wonderboy...
A Penny for Your Thoughts: And His Girlfriend...
GOOOOSE!: And His Sidekick...
Not a City in Georgia: Kill Atalanta

etc.
Maybe a special achievement for killing all of the Homeridae?

Other than that, Achievements based on Owning an Entire Sectoral, Faction, and a separate achievement for having painted them. Another generalist achievement would be a model killing more than five times his points value? Thought this might be fun.

I came up with "ARO to the knee".

Kill a TAG or similar multi-wound model with CRITS as the result of ARO to the one order. I was needing 5's or 6s due to TO camo modifiers. Got 3 and dropped it.
(Not my fault my opponent decided to "combat camo" with dual heavy flamethrowers into a 4 man link team. Sure, he killed 2 and broke the team with the flamers, but he lost his SPINX TAG,). I did actually ask him if he was sure he wanted to do that, as the link DID have SSl2 and would therefore have a f2f. He insisted.

Had this happen to me, including a crit on my Custodier LT's ankles that my opponent insisted he could see. :/

I've been thinking of proposing a sportsmanship award with my local group. At the end of the event people vote for the best sportsman and they get a small button with some cool graphics or whatever. Has anyone else done this?

The record so far at my events for one Order is an Aquila Guard HMG who walked round a corner in front of a four-strong link, split burst between all four and proceeded to crit all four...

I took 10+ crits in the last tourny I played in. Including a Crit that dropped my Iguana on an ARO.

If we're talking crits, I have a friend who has some Moderators that everyone here locally affectionately (or very violently, more likely) calls Crit-erators.

Every. Time.

I swear... I once used a Spitfire at 20 someodd inches in cover with mimetism on a lone moderator (he needed 1's). He rolled it. I needed 12's, rolled 10, 11, 5, 5. It was just... disheartening. Fun. But a soul crushing first order of the game. This wasn't the end of it, though.

Speculative Grenade shot? Crit.
Saving from a Multi Sniper Rifle using fully integrated ammo? Crit.
Taking a single pot-shot ARO at a Keisotsu at 40"? Crit.
Just survived a camo attack from a Ninja and shooting back? Crit.

My irmandinhos killed a Kamau hacker, looted his hacking device and send two surprised Akhalis to the ground, first one landed in plain sight of my missile launcher kazak, the second in front of my Vet' with hmg....butchery...

Another game i droped a tiger hacker and took control of my friend's jotum, killed the 3 fusilier since one was evidently his Lt, and then...ran his tag on the monofilament cloud who killed my guilang a few number of orders before, killing the sierra on the same move.

I ran these at my last tournament, each one had a prize attached. Only three of them got achieved - one of them twice, in the same game, by the same player.

• Impossible Shot - With a single shot, score a hit (or win F2F) with a target number of 2 or less.
• Epic Fail - Fail to hit with a target number of 18 or less.
• Man of Steel - Take no wounds from an attack that causes at least 4 saves
• Instagibbed - Fail all saves vs an attack that causes at least 4 saves
• Enemy Within - Disable at least two enemy models in a single game with a possessed enemy model or Impersonator
• There Can Only Be One - Disable at least two enemy models in a single game, with close combat attacks by a single model (beast packs eg. Hungries, Pupniks, Antipodes, do not qualify)

A few weeks ago! I breathed a huge sigh of relief...actually, does this count if 4 models were hit with a DTW and all of them made their saves?

I had a Line Kazak that managed this once all of my "real" troops failed...I still lost, of course, but she held the line like a beast. Better to Dodge into CC than allow them full burst...and hey, the knives just flashed like crazy at that point.

Nice. I was the defender in my case, so I was definitely amused by holding up his elites with a knife-wielding 9-point maniac.

Ah, but the Med-Tech is a "specialist" who is good with his ha- tentacles.

Though, what's stopping us from combining/G:Sync'ing the Med-Tech with his helper tentacles. Really spice things up.

Some names I felt like putting to things I have done:
The Oncoming Storm: Use a Doctor to inflict the majority of the damage that puts the enemy into retreat. (Alternative name: Basically... Run.)
Mine, Mine, Mine: Capture three or more mines with a Minesweeper.
Gorgon: Immobilise three or more models in one game.
Never give up, never surrender: After going into retreat, deny the opponent a mission objective.
Retreat backwards: Start the turn in retreat. End it out of it.
Best served cold: Have a formerly unconscious model take out its original attacker.
I was aiming for his head: KO an enemy with an attack (read: grenade) that misses. (Bonus points for camo. Even more bonus points for hidden deployment).
Pull!: Take out a super-jump model in mid-air.

Things I want to do:
No Sir! All Thirteen!: Deploy 13 Doctors in a single game.
Dodge this: KO a Hyper-Dynamics model by out-critting its dodge.
Saviour of the universe!: Successfully attack Ajax with Flash ammunition. (Brian Blessed not essential, but recommended).

And, as a corollary to...

I've been on the receiving end of these two. Rather miffed when my comfort blanket of mines and koalas was swept out from under me.

Had this happen to me in the first game of my first tourny. Opponent got 6 total , 3 of them against Defersen who managed to get docotored back to consciousness twice. I dont remember how many crits I suffered in the other games.
