Here's a question. Do the Metaverse buildings also work with the elevated platforms? Can I get an elevated Metaverse building for example? I am not sure I will do this, but it's nice to have options I suppose....

Nah I get that they are stackable Val! I was just wondering if they could include them with platforms so that the elevated mall idea you had would have more "stores" on it.

That is why we need to build a terrain "locker" at the store sir. I am thinking a large chain link fence. With a big, hungry, angry dog on the inside.

I've actually started to work on my storage, realized I can't just keep various faction boxes/blisters and terrain in random cardboard boxes. Well I can, but where do I go with them after they're assembled and painted?

Sean is great and one of the zaniest people you will ever meet. We had fun shooting the video.

The towers will connect to the walkways as a base unit then there are different platforms so the 2 will tie together in different ways and allow you to build even taller buildings.

Storage is a problem that I can kind of address by not gluing the uprights to the road deck but that sacrifices some stability. I thought about making the set more storage friendly but then you lose the ring structure and the air spaces in some of the kits. The parts I brought to the show fit in 3 storage bins (http://www.organizeit.com/15-gallon-winged-lid-box.asp) and it you are good at Tetris you could get them in 2 though I wouldn't recommend it. They stack and are easier to deal with than the ones with 1 piece removable tops. I have about a dozen of them that are full of terrain. The table I play on is an 5x8 with space for 5. The rest are in closets. Each container contains 1 type of terrain so I can quickly change out tables for different games. If only I could keep everything else this organized.

Comparing the video posted and the news page it appears one needs the "Metaverse Towers Ground Floor 1" and then some sort of road connector piece that isn't available yet to connect up with the road ways. This is only round 1, so can't wait to see round 2!

The connector to the road system was not ready for launch. I am redesigning it to give a few more options and to tie into a balcony design I have been playing around with.

Good to know! But since the roads aren't available yet anyways it's more of a moot point.

Not quite sure whether I like the design or not. Multi-level terrain is awesome, but in my eyes it needs to improve the playing area. There's every danger this pack will just provide some raised terrain for snipers and HMG to dominate the table.

My experience shows that elevated buildings in fact lessen the dominance of snipers/HMGs when you have multiples. Their shadow zones are increased and the buildings effectively block LOS. Plus, they are vulnerable to parabolic fire on the roofs not to mention AD:3 troops dropping in behind them.

While elevation can give some dominance for HMG and Snipers, I find it just as detrimental not to provide good spots for snipers. After all, people are paying a premium for sniper rifles on good models. I usually break up LOS with billboards and the like to good effect.

Thanks for the bump. We posted it yesterday and so far are about half way to the goal. Most of the pledges have been from outside the US so it is doing pretty well. We teamed up with a company in Germany for EU production to make it a little easier. The packages are still heavy though so shipping is still a bit of a pain. I guess no one wants to deliver 10 and 20+ pound packages. I am still adding extras to the system. Right now I have 4 new small building designs, the Metaverse Tower connector and a 4 way intersection to post. I am just waiting for them to get assembled.

We are adding new apartment modules to the line. This will be available across the board so if you are interested in them they will be available in April. Here is the preview picture of one of the new designs.
