So it's been almost a month and a half since last update, and over 2 months since GenCon - any word on the Wave 4 stuff?

So it's been almost a month and a half since last update, and over 2 months since GenCon - any word on the Wave 4 stuff?

I'm all for transparency from companies so here's what we've been up to.

Since GenCon we've done 2 more shows (DuelCon and Feast of Blades), converted all of our products to sprues (required for international distribution), setup distribution deals with Australia and the UK, released faction specific markers and templates http://www.data-sphere.net/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=1114, converted the bunker / consoles / comm arrays and designed some new pieces for an upcoming special release.

Converting our products to sprues for distribution was the most time consuming of the bunch. We can now safely say that is behind us. It was important to us that we figure out a solution for the international customers because shipping is such an issue with MDF. We want everyone that wants our stuff to have easy access to it.

Regarding the Wave 4 items, they are all done except for painting the studio pieces for product shots and the assembly videos. We don't like releasing products without painted examples but we've talked about making an exception in this case to get this wave out the door. I'd expect things to start trickling out very soon. The plan is to shoot the assembly videos this week and photograph the assembled pieces. The products are already loaded up in the store they just need the photos.

I'm happy to share with you what the products will be since you've seen almost all of them already on the GenCon table. Wave 4 will consist of:

* Gamma building (rectangle piece with interior walls that connects two alphas or betas)
* Delta building (unseen building )
* 5 different sizes of sidewalks
* Billboards
* Ladders
* Alpha and Beta Garage
* Benches
* Benches and planter pack

I think that's it unless I'm forgetting something. We also have more faction specific acrylic on the way.

Sorry for the wait but this was a busy few months for us with all of the shows and preparing for distribution. We're a two man operation (if you don't count wives and girlfriends helping!). We really do appreciate everyone's patience.

Error as in not understood or as in not able to confirm? In the official forum one guy theorizes Dire Foes price is high because they come with scenery, based in the official photo "dioramas".

Thanks for the update, much appreciated! I've been sitting on a chunk of cash since Gencon for the buildings you showed then, and the longer I wait other things keep chipping away at it...

Warsenal definitely has these guys beat on camo markers. The whole point of camo is to be sneaky, so why would I want a marker the exact silhouette of my camo-having troop?

Fuck the enemy's mind? You write in a paper: "marker X = soldier Y", but in the meanwhile you always go "and now my hidden X sneaks behind your whatever". Before X was a number, now it's "hidden something with mono... yes, the something is over there, flee!".

I agree it could do with a little extrapolation on what exactly you're getting.

Yep the single is means intended for a single building. There are doubles and others coming. When you change the drop down whatever is in the picture is what you are getting. I will add titles to the images to help clear it up though.
