All the time because I spend soooooo much time running intro games or new to the game players through the game that I have a whole bunch of 150 point, 200 point and then 300 point lists printed and just ready to roll. Hell some of them are laminated!

Also not huge on unfinished models or fielding unpainted models so I'll tend to use lists that use my built or painted models.
What I do: Chef by trade, arsehole by choice and I play and TO for Infinity when I'm not being either.

99% at least one new list per game... sometimes I work out 3 lists for a game then decide which one to use before the game and never use the 2 other lists....

Quite often.
Most of my usual opponents are still learning the game. I use a list as often as I can to expose them to certain "dirty trick" lists, until they can figure out how to beat it. Then I change lists - usually entire armies as well, though (I have 4 - most of them have 1).

I've been playing with a QK list recently. Linked KTS engineers for ITS/ICS missions owned. B2 ADHLs. :D

I've gone back to my first army now, PanO, in order to teach them some more stuff. I don't "optimise" against particular armies, I do however use that army's "strengths" - and with NCA, that strength is either TO HI with high BS, or HI with high BS and MSV3.

Why use the one list over and over?
Partly out of stubbornness. I like to stick at something until I either make it work - or figure out why it isn't.
Partly because the army list programs I used to use, no longer allow me to print out a list (or, if they do, don't print out legibly or correctly).
I don't have an idevice (and will not get one), so it's either spend time with excel and build my own spreadsheet lists - or just use a printout I've got already.

I try not to, I have like 5000 points of painted models so.. yeah..

The March of the Jerks just matches my playstyle well, so that list gets used quite often.

I used to - until my usual opponents got used to it, then I switched aspects of it.

Currently I'm trying out bolts and fusiliers together in my NCA lists.

Every now and then I pull out the 7 ninja 300pt list to screw with my opponent's head. Especially if they run TAGs.

My QK really only has limited figures, so it's hard NOT to run the same list with it.

It depends. Back when I was facing an opponent who thought that his guided-missile spam list was an auto-win button, I fielded very similar lists lot of the time. Maxed out Scouts with ojotniks + e-maulers were in every single list, of course. I never lost to this after the first game, but it took a while before my opponent finally learned that using this list against me was basically handing me a free victory.

Today, it's not that my lists are the same so much as there are aspects of them that don't change. I always start with a core of order-monkeys, for example. If I intend to run two squads (and I usually do), I'm running 2 Caledonian Volunteers with chain rifles. 4 basic Kazaks. That's 6 orders being generated for the rest of my force, and it costs me 48 points. If I don't plan on taking two squads, I drop two Kazaks and content myself with 4 order-monkeys for 30 points. In the same way, if I'm planning to run two squads, it's really easy to justify throwing in two or three 45th Highlanders (always with chain rifles).

Almost never, at least sequentially. I try as much as possible to alternate between the pano sectorials. I am also adding new units to my collection at a steady pace so i have got to use those. I might build a list that is similar to one I have run in the past. I try not to let any of models sit around for to long. plus it is just boring to run the same lists. To me anyways....

I don't ever really save my lists (unless for a tournament), but usually end up with very similar, if not identical, lists. I know how I want to play and what will let me do so.

That's not to say that I'm a one-trick-pony as far as lists are concerned, but I have a few staples that certainly appear from time to time.

List bashing is one of my favourite hobbies and I've enough maf to pretty much make any list (18 daturazis ).

When I play yams or kill missions I try to never play the same list twice. Unfortunately in its 2014 the same models just keep popping up as auto includes(anyat, Dr worm, oznat & pretas). This is good as they are great sculpts but oh so bad as maf just doesn't have the depth. Bring on the new rules and its 15.

I try to use the same list more than a few times, so I can get a feel for the units and my tactics EVEN THOUGH THE DICE HATE ME. I do, however, tend to make lists on the fly whenever someone wants a game, so I have a fair number of lists just floating around.

I don't like listhammering, though, so I'm not the sort of person who'll post lists (old or new) and ask for advice. At most, I'll try to engage a discussion about a certain unit or certain tactic, and what I could have done differently.

I have a 'newbie list' which is:
2 Naffatun with Heavy Flamer
2 Ghulams
2 Muyib Panzerfausts

That's 100 points and I find the list to be very flexible and powerful. If my opponent read a bunch of tacticas and brings utter cheese, the units are powerful enough to eat them alive. If my opponent doesn't have a clue, I can shoot at them from 20" away as well to be just as ineffective.

Otherwise, I change my list with every game. Some lists might be very similiar, and sometimes I might repeat a list if I'm feeling lazy for an immediate re-match.

Exactly my thoughts. I use most lists at least 3 or 4 times and as I'm the "veteran" player in my area, I always have a few lists at hand and ask my opponent about any special things they'd like to see on the board.

And lists imho are more a question of personal taste than of good or bad.
For example, most players in my area tend to never leave home with at least one MSV2 and consider a list "imcomplete" without those and I seldom bring one and still am able to win quite a lot of the games.

I think this heavily depends on the types of games you're playing. Like people have posted previously, the different ways to play Infinity necessitate different list strategies.

One of the things I found very frustrating about ITS 2014 was the need to practice with a list multiple times in order to know how to play it. If I walked into an ITS without having played a list at least a dozen times, I would usually do pretty badly. One of the reasons why I did so well at Gencon 2013, is I spent the six months leading up to Gencon refining the same list over many games and against many opponents. The need for that in ITS 2014, is a lot greater, but it turns Infinity into a job and you need to find people to who are really fun to play against. I didn't have the time, and the pool of people seriously dwindled. I found it ruined the game for me as it made coming up with winning strategies way too important and the resources to do it (time and fun opponents) were too scant to make it fun. I was also super pissed off that all the work I did for 2013, was thrown out the window and starting from scratch was also going to be too much of a frustrating uphill climb.

Now I play a large variety of lists and my games are far more story driven than they ever were before. It really makes Infinity shine when winning becomes less important than the action. The journey is always better than the destination if you ask me...

This is me. I only play Vanilla Nomads (for now), and there are some things that never change in my lists.

I usually play ITS, and so every list i build will be practically guaranteed to have a(t least one) Intruder HMG, and a Spektr + Lunokhod for ARO purposes. My LT is pretty much always either an Interventor or a Custodier, so that i can use the LT order (on hacking/Marker-shots) without having to physically expose my LT.. Since it is ITS, my lists will also always have combinations of Morans and Zeros (usually FO options). Of late, i have also almost always included a pair of Morlocks for smoke coverage.

The rest of my list is more changeable, depending on what style of enemy the list is designed to face. Higher burst weaponry for low-tech enemies (Tsyklons/Reaktion Zonds/PiWell/Intruder HMGs), or higher hacking/Szalamandra support for heavier/high-tech enemies (with the option for GML strikes, usually).

I have a lot of lists for a lot of purposes: demo games, ITS objectives, ITS board control, ITS Spec Ops objectives, ITS Spec Ops board control, 150 pt games, 400 pt games...

So I rarely use the same list twice in a row, but I do keep a big collection of lists that I reuse depending on the type of game being played.

I don't really have lists that I return to every time. I make a new list for every tourney. Although, I'll play the same list in friendly games, especially when I'm teaching newbies.

That said, my lists often have similar elements. I play a sectorial, So I usually choose the link team I want to start with and then build-up and fill in the gaps from there.

I try to write up new lists to try out every once in awhile on my phone's armybuilder app, especially if I've painted up a new models I haven't really used before, but many times I use the same lists as before mostly due to some combination of both laziness and familiarity.

I play NCA, ASA, MO and ASS

I have two or three standard ITS compatible lists (which is more or less all we play in NYC) for each sectoral, which I make small adjustments to depending on the nature of the missions I'm facing. Very occasionally I'll try a completely new list just for the hell of it.

Some people people might find this a little boring but when it comes to wargames I'm the type of guy who knows what he likes and doesn't get bored very easily. Also I make sure that I rotate through all 4 sectorals to make sure I don't get stuck in just one mode of play and all my painted models get some love.

Eagerly looking forward to adding the new Aleph and PanO Sectorals into the queue, when they drop of course!

I pretty much do this. I print a bunch of lists off the army builder every so often, try them out in various games against various opponents and then throw away the ones I feel are unfixable, and fix up the ones that I reckon have potential.

If I get stomped badly from dice or bad tactics, I will usually repeat the list.

My Kyuuan Kouan (public security section 9) lists are pretty static, and so are my other heavily themed lists.

But otherwise, I prefer to try lots of new and different things.

My Infinity group is still a touch green, and we are only now really starting to get a few new members and work towards building momentum. We also tend to try out different mission systems like ITS, YAMS, Nova Ops, etc... and depending on the game, lists seem to vary a lot.

With tournaments, I can see why someone would play the same list many times to refine their use for it, as there's something tangible on the line. Where we just play casually, I think the only time I've reused a list was when playing multiple games in one night. Other than that, it's been experimenting with new armies that want to eat my wallet, and trying out new units in the one I own.

I tend to nevr use a list more than once. It happened that before a tournie I run the same list through 2-3 games for some practice, but not much more.

This said some units started to be mandatory more or less in some modes of play...in ITS I couldn't help but include a karakuri in nearly every list for example.

I really like to try different things and will change lists around certain elements while keeping the core intact just to try different things.
