Martial L3 vs Berserk

Quick question: What happens when a model with MA L3 attacks a model with Berserk, and said model decides to ARO attack with Berserk, what happens?

a) MA L3 model makes a normal roll, then Berserk model makes a normal roll (if it survived the attack)
b) Both make a normal roll, hitting each other at the same time.
