How does inferior infiltration work in exclusion zones?


Inferior infiltration means that the trooper has to infiltrate. What happens in scenarios with exclusion zones where they are not allowed to?

They have to deploy in the thin strip between the exclusion zone and the enemy DZ.

Exclusion zones never (as far as I'm aware) reach all the way to the deployment zones. So you should have a 4" band where the exclusion zone doesn't reach that you can infiltrate into. There's a reason I don't mind exclusion zones with my Oniwaban.

ok thanks for the answers. I am working on the second version of my 20x020 scenario system.
I don t use exclusion zones much, but 4 out of 20 missions need them. However, I want my exclusion zone to cover the entire enemy table half. So I need another solution. How about saying that inferior infitration is treated as forward deployment lvl 1 instead?

You can also say that Inf. Infiltration simply doesn't work
Players know the scenarios in advance anyway, and that skill only costs 1 pt
