Rules query linked teams and fireteams

Hi newbie player with a quick question running a 300 point morat aggression sectorial force

Two groups first is

Kurgat
Raichi tag
Morat vangard lt
MV Hacker
MV paramedic
MV forward observer
MV misile launc
MV hmg
Morat dratz witch

Second group
Onzat
Preta x4

Gakix4

Have the MV IN A FIVE MAN fireteam minus the lt

And the onzar and preta as a linked five team

is this ok as the MV ARE MY ONE FITETEAM but the onzat makes the other group of preta linked via a device.

Just wanted to check this was OK as the second link is provided by a device the onzat uses and so I can still use the MV in a fireteam as my one sectorial fireteam with N3 rules?

You can only have on linkteam in your whole army. Unless you're using Enomotarchos, Haris or Tohaa fireteam rules.

The Oznat doesn't create a separate link team, it only allows the hungries to create a team that follows all of the rules of a link team (including one per army). That being said, a common tactic is to start with a hungry link team, then use a command token to swap it after the order pool is generated. Since the Oznat converts the hungries into regular orders, it adds four orders to your pool.

One option might be to start your Raichio in the second group, use the extra orders for him to Rambo, and then spend a second command token to swap him to the first group.

I thought fire teams had to be set up in deployment only I didn't realise you could swap the latest no team around?

You can deploy the unit as a fire team. In addition you can swap the fireteam by using a command token. It is on page 2 of the HS+CP FAQ:

If I go second and deployed with Vanguards as link, can I with a command token swap to Hungries link before the orderpool is generated for my first turn?

Also can I dissolve a Hungries link at the start of a turn with no cost before a order pool is generated?

You can voluntarily dissolve link team at any time.

You CANNOT form one whenever you want though. It MUST be your active turns and you MUST spend a Command Token to create it! If you meet those to requirements go for it. I personally think the Oznat link is a total waste of points forgo the oznat and take something else the Gaki/Pretas can fend for themselves.

I'd say a Hungries Link is a nice way to get your Hungry Pack close to the enemy. Then let slip the Gaki of War, and form another Link elsewhere.
The hungries will fend for themselves.

So it is a yes by the sound of it. I have to say the Hungries link is great just to get 5 regular orders for the specialist or a Rasyat to go bananas. The burst 2 smoke lgl is also great. Then they can go on their own later turns

Yes you can use AP or DA in ARO.
