Hi guys, apologies if this is already covered somewhere, I'm just getting into the game.
I'm not sure how 2nd ed dealt with actions, but it's looking like the way 3rd ed is works (going by operation Icestorm)
Active player declares move action, then reactive declares AROs, then active declares skill action or a second move action. (In essence the active player gets to react to the reactive players choice of ARO)
My question is:
In a move + move situation, are you supposed to declare the whole movement, or should/can you declare 1 move, then declare the other move after the AROs (as you would with a move+shoot/move+dodge) as this can have a drastic effect on how the opponent might ARO, if they think you might shoot they may be more reserved and opt to dodge, whereas if they know you're just legging it then they might as well just shoot unopposed every time. Is there a generally accepted style of declaring actions and AROs?
