New 0-12 Podcast is up.

Only important thing to note is that July new Releases will all be Infinity: Bootleg releases.

Pan O - Tech Coolie (maintenance/repair crew)
Yu Jing - O-Yoroi Kidobutai Pilot
Nomad - Lizard or Salamander Pilot (not sure which they mention both)
Haqqislam - Maghariba Guard Pilot
Mercs - Jo 'Scar Face' Turner Pilot

Infinity Art book as already mentioned elsewhere and we might see the Anaconda since its the Gen Con release.

Hate that model.

That sword DA FAQ is it and the pose I mean really that pose.

I'm going to cut the sword off make a cutlass to go there and take the bent leg out and put a peg leg on it.

Hell I'll sculpt at pirate hat while I'm at it.

I'm very curious about the PanO Tech...maybe it will be more usable/nicer than my current PanO Machinist. Either way, depending how unusable for table purposes they are it might be a nice break this month (short of pre-ordering the art book)

As to the model...I'm really hoping she has a spare/alt arm, but I'm doubting it. I would have rather seen the arm extended straight out with a pistol, but the shoulder just looks weird with that pose. Two bounty hunters so far and I'm not liking either... :(

I think the sculptor misunderstood the memo about "Booty level 2".

She will be unusable for table purposes if I remember well what I saw. Neither the oyoroi pilot. Maybe Scarface , not sure about maghariba or lizzard pilots.

What exactly have you seen? Tell us. With details.

I can´t, they know where I live, know my family....oh, well, I saw the oyoroi pilot without the cockpit , the skeleton of the Tech-coolie and some designs of Scarface. Jose Luis Roig was especially excited about the possibilities of the bootleg models -something different to sculpt!- , his oyoroi pilot seemed to me simply fantastic.

Oh hell no, another female mini wasted by Roig :(

I think that many people confuse Juan Navarro /Jose Luis Roig. Juan Navarro must fix one problem, he always do the same female face. For example, Asuka and Miranda were made by Juan Navarro. Tohaa and PanOceania - almost all. - are Roig´s.
And no, the oyoroi pilot has a beatiful , asian-like, face.

I think I dislike both of them. Shinobu Kitsune, GoGo Marlene, whose are they? They are good examples of my beef with female sculpting. IIRC Marlene is Roig's. However, Roig is great for tech, and the Tohaa are awesome with a few exceptions (funnily enough, the female minis)
And yeah, I agree the problem is one face and one body type.
BTW, do you know who sculpted the female Zhanshi/Keisotsu? I love those.

VVV: Ah, thanks, I forgot where to check that. I thought I saw Roig's sig on the GoGo mini, must've been mistaken. Avicenna seems OK, I'll wait for the final mini.

Giraldez always says in his blog who sculpted the miniatures:

Shinobu and Gogo Marlene,: Juan navarro .Others, Kempeitai girl, Valeria...
Jose Luis Roig did Avicenna, for example.

Keisotsus and Zanshis: Yannick Hennebo

Hahaha.. there is potential there for Saint's Row, all over again.. :D

Actually I think she is kind of nice, quite a dynamic pose, although I might be tempted to angle her a bit forward. Certainly worth getting as part of the pre-order in any case and playing about with!

Why is her pose falling on her face? Which is what she will do if she doesn't have a stripper pole to hold on to.

Don't know if it's been mentioned yet (or if this should go in the August releases!) but a couple of places have pre-orders now for the new Art book, aside from CB's site. In the UK Wayland Games have got it on pre-order (comes to about £30 with P&P)

http://www.waylandgames.co.uk/

At the time of writing they've given the book pride of place on the front page, rightly so IMO above that new Apocalypse shite! :D

In other news, BoW is running an Infinity Week. And from the videos, it seems Iguana will be launched by years end, and Gecko next year. Good news is they are in the art book, "bad" news is both share lots of details. I say bad because it keeps on kicking the published background that says Geckos are tiny TAGs capable of going were no other TAG goes (that is "HI-sized TAG" IMO).

So far:

http://www.beastsofwar.com/infinity/inf ... ing-aleph/
http://www.beastsofwar.com/infinity/inf ... g-ariadna/
http://www.beastsofwar.com/infinity/inf ... ing-tohaa/
http://www.beastsofwar.com/infinity/inf ... g-yu-jing/
http://www.beastsofwar.com/infinity/inf ... ng-nomads/

They are also providing "new" wallpapers, if you have a BoW account.

Worth mentioning that you only need the free signup account to access those wallpapers, not the 'backstage pass' that you have to pay for.

Worth getting I think as a few of them are previously unseen, including the cover of the artbook.

The missing ones:

The Maghariba pilot is perfectly playable, Bootleg range or not. Some of normal miniatures could go into that range without issues, with the non combatant poses they got.

At the very least these miniatures will make great looking display pieces.

At the moment, the Scarface/Caliban one is the only one that interests me (because Shasvastii). This may change when I see the final sculpts, seeing the dates on those concepts.

I'm disappointed in seeing CB throw out a bunch of gratuitous cheesecake miniatures for the bootlegs; one step forwards, two steps back.
