Over the last few days all sorts of bits and pieces of news and rumours have been coming out of Corvus Belli.

We heard there was a delay due to printing our own Scarecrow then Bostria mentioned it again on the Infinity Podcast. Mayacast Episode 13: Interview with Bostria along with many other interesting tidbits.

As promised Bostria released the first shots of the books!

I have been into miniature wargaming for almost 20 years and that video is one of the coolest and professional pieces of PR I have ever seen from a game company.

Agreed. Compared to some other companies (ok, company) in the industry CB are polar opposite in terms of promotion and communication. The likes of this video and Bostria's tireless efforts in spreading the word in person, podcasts, Beasts of War, etc., their social media presence, all go toward generating emotional loyalty to their brand. Helps that the product is great too. :)

Agreed, fun look behind the scenes.

I thought this was pretty cool for a new release video.

A little too much marketing filter for my taste.

Agree wholeheartedly way to much grim fantasy which wasn't really need given the content/context.

First books are arriving in the grubby mits of some gamer/s elsewhere in the world.

Just a few minutes ago the doorbell rang and there was the UPS guy with my copy of N3!

Initial thoughts...

Pros
Gorgeous Covers
Beautiful layout
Full Color
Miniatures and terrain are simply stunning (kudos to the photographer/s)
Excellent Diagrams
Font Size is probably a 11 or 12 point so even I can read it!
Text density per page is reduced
Weapon Charts are easy to read

Cons
No Index...WTF!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT:Index is found 241 to 244...my bad...their GOOD!!!
Paper weight is a bit on the light side
