Well, that calls for a separate discussion alltogether. Based on the question how common it is to acquire a new body.

Language-wise, "re-sleeve" implies something rather mundane and everyday. Like putting on clothes.
"Resurrection" implies something that is mriaculous, and - like miracles in general - doesn't happen often if at all...

We have to wait for more fluff (and most likely - the Infinity RPG to get more details on that. However, Dire Foes (Escape or Die) fluff implies that for the movers and shakers it is indeed a readily-available re-sleeve, whereas for everyday (and even somewhat larger-than-life) folks it is a Resurrection that, while not impossible, costs buckets of sweat (and often blood, too)to make it happen... if it happens at all.

Hardly surprising in fact, given the Silk is in a limited supply, and even the basic LHost is unlikely to come cheap.

Quite similar to Eclipse Phase RPG. Those who can afford it (either financially or in favors) use the opportunity frequently. Those who can't must make do with cheap synthetic shells paid for with 20+ years of indentured service. There are whole servers full with infogees from Earth put in cold storage because they aren't useful enough to get them a physical body and put them to work...

In Infinity, it seems like death-from-misadventure (say, getting killed in combat) is grounds for getting a brand-new body, something that had been guaranteed in human-v-human conflicts. It was when the EI showed weapons that could cause True Death that military recruitment and morale crashed.
