Human Interface

There's this cyberpunk tabletop game that just got kickstarted.

Not really interested in the game itself, but it says it's going to include 28mm metal miniatures.
Here are some renderings.
http://www.hint-thegame.com/gallery

Some of them are dull, but in the first row you can see some interesting stuff that we are unlikely to see from Corvus Belli. They are more RPG characters or agents than the typical soldiers of Infinity.

I really like the look of it but the scale made me cringe not really a fan of larger scales.

10mm and 25mm are where its at for me. ;)

Scale seems to fit infinity quite well. There is a comparison shot

Sadly, couldn't afford to KS this one.

Going to get it when it hits stores, though!

The Johny mini looks great. Really cool lobut king but not sure if I have the funds. First kick starter I've seen that looked good aside from Rise of the Kage.

I backed this as well - can't get enough of the cyberpunk theme. Expensive, but looking forward to trying it.

I like it, but my gaming spending happens in dribs and drabs when I have the money - not in big injections of cash at a time with long waiting times to get the goods (which is why I don't back KS projects).

They really need a better web presence and YouTube videos. Looks like it could be amazing..... but I want to know more.

Yeah, HINT looks like it's going to be another gold mine for near-future scifi minis.

I'm gonna paint my HINT minis in similar color schemes to my Infinity armies, so I can use them interchangeably.

I've met the guys from HINT / Postindustrial Games yesterday at the first day of Spiel '15 and was able to get my hands on 2 miniatures. The casting quality is really impressive, at least equals CB's imho.

Can't wait for the KS to deliver! Gonna paint them DeusEx-ish

Note: These aren't part of any pledge of the KS, but available as addons.

How's the scale compared to Infinity? I see some conversion opportunities.

Did you grab them at Essen?

I know they were there showing stuff off.

Review of some HINT minis by Brückenkopf:

http://www.brueckenkopf-online.com/?p=153915

They primed and washed them, so you can enjoy the details!

Also Brückenkopf talked to the designers at Essen/Spiel'15 regarding skirmish rules for HINT,
the answer: "we have plans". :)

I knew that I discovered a jewel!

Castings look very good.
Moreover, the design of the figures is more anatomically accurate than late Infinity range, which tends to have heavy builds, big hips and big heads (see the Alguacil and the Ariadnan in the pic above) :cop:

Can someone get me in contact with the company which makes the game?

I wish to ask if the figures can be bought individually, and separately from the game box, but for the hell of me, I can't find a contact email neither in the website, nor in the kickstarter project page... :(

You could try their FB page:

https://www.facebook.com/hintthegame

The only email address i got is backerkit@hint-thegame.com, though this is for backers who didn't receive an invitation for the pledege manager.

Through Facebook, they wrote me that some figures will be available individually.

But which ones? Now I'm puzzled if I should buy the box or wait...

By the unholy powers of teh innertubes, I command this thread to rise again!

Muahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!

Ahem.

So, how's the game play? Minis are awesome, and I want to buy them, but it'd be good if the game was good, too.

First iteration of the rules were hard to follow and left open many questions. But they are working on that and release a new rules book soon.

Because of that I only played two small introduction missions and it was promising but lacking. Like ... oh this could be good ... if i only knew how to play it.

Hope to give it another shot soon.
