This month we created some products directly related with Operation Icestorm.

The first is a "deluxe pack" that contains everything to substitute the cardboard game elements that are included in the O:I box:

Also we decided to make a special bases pack which include all the bases needed for Operation Icestorm. And the bases were designed by Ángel Giráldez itself! :

And we have designed some airbrush stencils:


This first stencil has a JSA thematic but you can expect for more faction related stencils to see the light in the upcoming months .

What're those stencils made of? MDF? And what of the PanO and Nomad bases? Also MDF? They look like cardboard, which worries me a bit as those will only be able to absorb so much paint before warping.

Both cardboard and plasticard. I'm not really sure how they relate to each other, though.

That's a good question. Maybe Customeeple can provide us with do's and don'ts about painting and priming the cardboard ones. Otherwise I might need to change my order a bit.

The stencils and the bases are made on a High Density Cardboard treated with a special varnish.

In a few days we are going to publish a text to help with all the questions about our bases and stencils, and also a how to use.

To avoid much shipping, you might save up some money first.. Buy a big lot of stuff all at once!

The problem is that their shipping prices go up as much as the size of your order does. In other words: it doesn't really seem to matter.

The good news is that Customeeple is aware of the hideous postage prices in Spain and is looking for ways to make it cheaper for them (and us!) to send stuff abroad.

As Arachas said, we are working on shipping costs. The mail operator we work with has not so bad prices, but when a umbral of weight is reached the costs increase significantly . We will keep searching and we will inform you all as soon as we have something!

We have published a document on our facebook page which explains and clarifies some aspects about our bases, how we have found that they were good materials for the bases and also a little example of how to paint them.
