Future City Question

by Dozer » November 13th, 2014, 2:21 pm

Have questions about the Future City set.

Can you give the buildings 4 or 5 levels?
Since I'll be spending over the world wide free shipping limit how long does it normally take to show up in my neck of the woods (aka Canada) and it the order tracked.

Thanks
- Cheers

Chiming in to express my experience: Systema's lines are highly modular and can be stacked, interchanged and mixed within its own line until you get tired of it. The Future City seems to work on the same principle and each floor is a single, separate floor. So yes, you can stack them up to 20 floors if you really want to.

Awesome thanks Scorch.

Seems like the Sidewalk sections are on the sides and not the ends. Which is pretty slick.

Will there be any more additions to the line before the Holiday?

The 'middle floor' sections will keep stacking on each other just fine.

Just keep in mind they were designed to be used with external stairs - take some Walkway sets with them.

That there, there will be pure wine and honey and sugar
Fill up the wine cup and place it in my hand

The walkway sets from Base-0 line are a different height! They will not fit

And there is an elevator inside

Ah. True.

Got overtly suggested on the Base-0 sets... sorry.

As the others already said, the floors can be stacked as high as you like.

The Futura City range will be expanded in the future (with bridges, L-shaped building, external stairs, etc.), but probably not before the holidays, because I'm working on something else at the moment. But I'll try to do an add-on set with Base-0 walkway connections, so that they will work with the FCB-One building.
The buildings do have an elevator modelled inside or alternatively you can use the engraving on the side panels as a ladder.

Shipping to Canada usually takes 10-14 days. I always take tracking info and can provide it on request.

I recently ordered the FCB-One and Enclosed Garden.

They arrived in the US very quickly and look great. I'll post a more thorough review after I've assembled and painted...

Looking forward to seeing those come out. L Shaped Building and External Staris would be very awesome.
