Model Counts for Multiple Combat Groups

When you do more than one combat group, do you tend to split the overall model count fairly evenly, or go more for one larger and one smaller groups?

Depends on what you're trying to achieve with your groups. If you're looking to be more flexible, go with even(ish) counts; if you're looking to focus on a particular small set of models (i.e. skirmishers running interference, designed as a screen that isn't going to last very long), maybe go with a larger and smaller.

I like to make on full and one miniscule group when making lists. The latter consist of cheap triad and something to use orders, such as delegate. They act as backline defenders and plan C when things go south.
