Hi everyone and welcome to the Data Sphere! A completely independent Infinity community, but still operating under the endorsement of Corvus Belli! Please, feel free to join in and share everything Infinity with us. We'd glad to have you!

Concerning the Guidelines: we expect all members to respect each other and leave any prejudice at the door. The only way this can be a truly enjoyable community, is when YOU choose to mature, helpful and friendly. That said, we have written down Guidelines to help us create a stable and FUN community. Please read them and act according to them. Thank you!

~ The Data Sphere Team

1. Forum Guidelines

a. Please post in the relevant forum section and read the section description before posting. Admins and moderators have rights to move any topic to more relevant section.

b. Please be respectful of other users. Using bad language, name calling, trolling and other disruptive behavior could lead to a warning and possibly temporary ban.

c. Do not act as "back seat moderators". If you have an issue with another user, please sort it out on PMs. If you feel they've broken a forum rule, just report the post or PM a moderator/admin.

d. Remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and may result in an immediate and permanent ban.

e. Please do not post illegal or pirate content on this forum. This may get you warned and the content removed or even get you immediately banned, depending on the severity of the content.

f. Spam (unsolicited advertisements not related to the forum's subject) is not tolerated here under any circumstance. Spammers will be banned on sight.

g. Points d., e. and f. above also apply to signatures, avatars, PMs and any other form of communication on this forum.

h. Please use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include: "Help me!", "I'm stuck!", "I've got a question!", etc. Examples of good titles include: "Help me modify this 300pt Ariadna list", "How can I convert an Iguana TAG?", etc.

i. The Admin team and moderators reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users. If a post is edited or deleted by the Admin team that member will be notified of the reasons via PM.

j. Do not post one word replies or trivial messages repeatedly just to raise your post count. This wastes moderators' time and also uses database space and bandwidth. Try to avoid double and triple-posts, use the edit button.

k. Use proper spelling and punctuation. If you don't respect us enough to use a browser spellcheckers, mods don't respect your posts ;)
k2. If you use Tapatalk or any similar program that attaches "Send from my *device* with *app*" tags, please turn them off or delete them.

l. Each user is permitted to have only one active account registered at one time.

m. It is strictly forbidden to exploit any bugs in this forum's system. Doing so will lead to warnings and possibly banning.

n. The above forum guidelines where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the removal of private messaging system (PM).

o. Any discussions of Kickstarters that do not directly relate to Infinity (e.g. cyberpunk/SF minis/terrain) go into the general Kickstarter thread, located HERE.

2. Signatures

a. Signatures may contain up to five lines of text (of small or normal size) Signatures containing too much text will be removed.

b. Text size should be between 9 and 12 (small and normal). Text in signatures is subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency etc.

c. Links are permitted in signatures. Such links may be made to personal websites etc. Links are included within the text and image limits above. Links to offensive sites may be subject to removal.

d. Images are allowed up to a size of 415 x 85 pixels. Please don't use more than one image in your signature!

e. Note that if you don't wish to see signatures, they can be turned OFF in your user control panel.

3. Avatars

a. Users can a gallery avatar or upload their own avatar. User defined avatars may not be bigger than 100 x 150 pixels, impersonate a the admin/moderator team in any way (e.g. by mimicking ranks or copying avatars of admin team members), and may not exceed 195.31 KB in file size.

b. Avatars are subject to the same conditions as posts with respect to decency etc.

4. Warnings and Bans

a. DataSphere operates on a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maximum of TWO times for any and all offences: first by a Moderator, then an Administrator. If the need arises for a THIRD warning, the user in question will be probated (have their posting privileges temporarily removed) for 1-7 days. Any subsequent offence will lead to a PERMANENT ban.

b. Warnings may be increased to a probation, depending on the severity of the trespass.

b. Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning. Should this exceed three strikes, a probation will be put in place as above.

c. Users who feel they have been unfairly warned are welcome to contact an admin team member. If they feel you were treated badly they will remove a warning. Their decision is final.

d. Any attempt to avoid a temporary ban will lead to that ban being made permanent. Avoiding includes re-registering under a non-banned username, changing IP addresses to evade an IP ban, registering a new email account to evade an email ban. This includes posting as an anonymous user.

e. An exception to the three strike rule applies when users contact team members personally (via PM or email) and/or post insulting, indecent, vulgar or illegal material or spam. Such users may be subject to an immediate permanent ban.

When registering, please avoid seemingly random characters as your username, as they may be accidentally deleted as a spambot. If you do want such a username, just post an introduction thread and you'll be safe from bot-hunters
