Nice to have someone from the homeland of Infinity!

Yes, you can help. For example, can you tell us how Infinity is played in Spain, what's the general meta compared to what we see on the net, etc.?

thanks for your message !

in spain its hard to tell abour "meta game" as we talk in other games like 40K for example

Now,infinity its played for a lot of players. Thanks to the strange situation about 40K in spain (less played) a lot of players now use infinity more.

Actually,in Madrid (place where I live) are 2-3 big shops with a lot of movement of this game, with differents campaing systems and different results, because a lot of factions have a lot of chance to be competitive:

-QK: Scarfece (good tag with low cost) and Kaplan Fireteam with the haris of the Sekban/Odalisc,its a very played sectorial. In generic, the muttawiha take a lot of leadership thanks to the jammer and because are cheap.
-Aleph: the steel phalanx and new profiles make than aleph have more weapons over the table.Eudoros,Diomedes and Pentesilea, very used over here...
-PanO: The crusader give to Military Orders some "fresh air" and give them one weapon very usefull, change a lot of synergies and make it more competitive sectorial.
-Combined Army: as always, the new units give them some punch. The Anathematic its more used, and the version of Ko-Dali has been well recived.
-Ariadna: very used in spain, but the reinforcement that they recived in the new book, have left cold a lot of players. The Briscards are worst than the Loup Garou fireteam, and they claim that Merovingia need a profile similar to the scout that have been recived for caledonia.Anyway,i think that for a "competitive" army,Ariadna its more used in the generical army than the sectorials.
-Tohaa: different opinions, but the most extended are that they need some of new profiles and weapons. The players claim about more viral weapons (Sniper viral for gao rael or clipsos, por example)
-Nomads: waiting for corregidor starter, the new miniatures and the rules make that a lot of people claim about this starter. The wildcats, the unit recived in this new book, make happy to nomads players, because its a good unit.

In general lines, the game its very balanced for all players/factions,maybe the exception its for tohaa army.

Also, the book give to the players ideas for new missions for the tournaments. This its good for the development of the game, making different type of missions.

And now, something important for the community of players, are make a independent forum for spain, and a lot of players are woriking on it

Hi,thanks for the insight on the Spanish meta, glad to hear so many armies working well. I really should give QK a go, since I somehow overlooked that they get to use Scarface.

Hi Aetolia! Sorry I couldn't make the game in December. Perhaps some other time, eh? I did manage to get to Atlantica Juegos and do some Infinity shopping on a random day, though. Too bad I was only passing through!
