Hey Everybody!

Hi everyone!

I've been playing Infinity for a little over a year now. While I play and paint regularly, and even write a bit here and there... I've always had trouble keeping up with a forum. :ninja: I'm going to try and change that and become an active member here and try to contribute the best I can!

I'm a married father of two little girls, the oldest of whom is just getting into boardgames - CandyLand is blowing her mind! And I'm an engineer who works on air and space craft!

I have the Tohaa starter box all painted up, and while they are powerful, they weren't exactly my style. I've since switch to Steel Phalanx and am loving the "in your face" style of play.

:O

I have a degree in aerospace engineering. I am not currently working as an aerospace engineer. I am currently working as a programmer.

What is your secret?!

Go to a school where you will be forced to pay crippling amounts of student loans for the rest of your life? :P

But really, the aerospace field is constantly in flux. The small sexy places like SpaceX, Firefly, Scaled Composites, etc are so small yet so high profile they really get to pick and choose who they want. If you're packing an advanced degree and 10+ in the industry they wont even look at you. Lockheed, Boeing, and even USAF are going to be easier to get into early on, but it's (probably) not going to be as exciting.

It's kind of a weird industry in a lot of ways. Huge amounts of money but amazingly small at times. Honestly if your fresh out of school I suggest going for the big guys and get some experience and make contacts.

But PM if you want to talk some more about this or get into some details!
