Hi everybody,
I found wargaming 7 years ago, when my growing up son (then 10 years old) passionately dived into Warhammer 40K and he needed an opponent and somebody to accompany him to local tourneys. My first army were the Imperial Guard. The creative aspect of the hobby – painting, converting, modeling fictional tanks and other vehicles was the most fascinating for me. This and my interest in history led into trying other wargames, like Dust Warfare, AEWWII, Helldorado.
For a few years Infinity wasn’t on my wish list, despite an active local Infinity community. But a year ago I rediscovered the appeal of the miniatures, the new sculpting trend at CB and after trying out the game with my son jumped into the exciting Infinity game. I, being a lover of ordinary men at arms and tanks, began playing Ariadna, my son, always choosing the evil side – Chaos, Germans, Demons, opted for the CA.
This year my daughter joined the “family circle of hobbysts” with her Nomads.
I am very positive for upcoming N3 and CB’s efforts to make it run smoother. Our local Infinity community is also steadily growing up. I spend most of my time painting up new soldiers, making terrain, playing a few semi-monthly games and continuously encouraging the local community to paint their forces up.
Being a long-time lurker in the forums, I'm excited to exchange creative, modeling, painting ideas with you.
