PanO Icestorm... What Do?

I just placed my preorder for Operation: Icestorm, which creates the issue that I will soon be the dubious owner of about a starter box's worth of PanO models, not to mention a themed die.
The question is, what should I do with 'em?
The way I see it, I have three options:
1) Keep them and start a PanO force.
2) Trade them away for whatever I can get (Nomads and/or ALEPH).
3) Trade them for a different third faction (probably, I'd trade them for Haqq).
4) SOMETHING ELSE...
I'm pretty torn, so I'm going to let the forum help me out! Your post should include what you think I should do and why.
Have fun!

The latter would be
really tempting, but I mostly play Corregidor, which has no mercs unit options, just special characters. Otherwise I'd totally reconfigure them as Druze or grit them up and glue wings to them so they could be Yuan Yuans or something. Maybe Tunguska will have some merc unit options?

PanO corpses... PanO prisoners... so many possibilities. Need you ask?

Just convert them as Mercenaries and us them as following, f.e.:
Orc = Brigada
Nisse = Intruder
Akali = Hellcat
Fusiliers = Alguaciles/Moderators/Securitate, Druze/Kaplan if you figure out a way to give them helmets.
If Tunguska gets some Mercs you can always figure this out later too.

Keep them and paint them up for a demo force. Seems to me that Icestorm would make an awesome set to do demos with

I imagine there will be a lot of demand for those new fusiliers.
Otherwise, burn them, its the only good use for any PanO scum

Paint them with Orange and Pink camo with purple highlights. All fluorescent paints. After all, that's supposed to be the best possible camo, as it takes another 0.4seconds for the brain to react...
Sorry, was re-reading Michael Z. Williamson's "When Diplomacy Fails ..." and that's actually a conversation in the book. UN Army's camo is no-joke hideous orange and pink with purple highlights. And visible at about 3km.

Personally, I'd sell them off. I bet you there's a ton of people looking out for those models, pretty soon (unless CB will offer the models separately... wait, it's CB.... they probably will, except for the Knight. Oh well.)
Luckily, I play both Nomads and PanO, so I won't have to make that decision!

I feel so rich with my PanO
and Nomad forces! xD And a box of O:I complements that perfectly! I agree with Arachas: sell off.. the Knight is a unique selling point for any PanO player out there who doesn't like Nomads

The PanO is so pretty, I might end up in the same boat.

I'll be using the nomad models I CAN use (I play QK - not mad enough to go FULL nomad. You NEVER go full nomad.
) and either converting the others or disposing of them somehow (I have no need of the healer - and the grenzer at worst will get a headswap or mod to make him into a panO unit) for my panO (I play Neoterra and can't use the akal, knight or ORC from the PanO lot - so a mate is taking ALL of the PanO part off me)

Well, my Nomads will get a serious boost from O:I, but I'm in a similar situation concerning PanO. I don't fancy the thought of starting a PanO force of its own...
The Fuseliers could make for nice non-fugly Securitate. Apart from that I don't think any of the PanO models would really fit in with Nomads. The Knight is pretty enough to get the "paint for the showcase only" treatment. The ORC will most likely be given to a friend - he has PanO, so might find him useful for conversions. The rest? Either to the same friend, or sold via 'bay I guess.

I actually bought the starter as well and while I am very fond of the reverend healer exclusive I would be willing to trade it along with the CSU mini.
Offers/ideas?
feel free to PM

I think CB put a lot of time and effort into making the PanO and Nomad lines as "opposing" as possible when it comes to aesthetics. Including the red vs blue paint jobs. I don't think you can mix the sides, at all, without it looking weird. But up to the players of course.
