New Zhanshi Box issues

Anyone else get their hands on the new Zhanshi Special Weapons Box? I'm asking because I wanna see if anyone else is seeing the scale issue between the hacker and sniper versus the other two and basically everything else. The hacker and sniper look like giants compared to the other guys.

Hacker is standing straighter than the aiming male Zanshi in the starter box. He's about a forehead taller overall. (Lemme go steal the pics from the official forum):
But that actually makes the aiming Zanshi taller than the hacker.

I have a post up on the official forums as well about this and they want pictures there. I will be taking some tomorrow and will post them up here as well. I don't know, maybe my eyes are tricking me but that's not what the physical models I have in hand look like.

Ok so these are blurry and meh but they are pictures all the same.
Here is the Red Veil Zhanshi, and behind him is a door, notice where his head comes up to.
Here is the Troops of the Banner Hacker, same door, same angle. Look at where his head comes up to.
He's a full head taller, hunching then the Zhanshi is, I also was able to get the guns they're holding next too each other, no picture, and the gun is bigger and thicker. His calves are thicker, his head is bigger, his boots are bigger. This is all the photo evidence I have bit I think it shows what I'm talking about. That or I'm crazy.

Does you camera have any macro function? It normally goes as Tulip/Flower icon in the controls. Also, light in the same side than the camera helps, both with seeing what is going on and with focusing.
With what you show, it could be the poses, or it could be they are "inflated" to different levels, explaining the weapon or head differences. CB doesn't seem to care, they could be providing all matching models (no more excuses with telecommuting sculptors) and even fix some issues in middle of the workflow (epoxies means redo always, not trying first a rescale like digital). And by matching I mean same "mini space", not clones (yet Maru said they cloned some asses).

Honestly I know nothing about the camera. It belongs to the wife and she was asleep when I was trying to take the pictures because I thought to myself, "Hey, its 2 in the morning, now is a great time to take some awful quality pictures for that post on a forum I made."
Its not the poses, I think its inflating like you said, or someone made a mistake with the scale and no one caught it or cared too fix it. This guy has the same proportions as some heavy infantry, he even looks big next to a Yan Huo; not bigger than just big in comparison too. I wish they would be more careful now since, as you said, their really isn't an excuse with the digital sculpting. The one that annoys me is they'll still make mistakes like this, then turn around and really shamelessly clone poses from one group to another, like that new Wu Ming box. Its a shame because the models are great quality, and the sculpting is well done. They just need to work on their quality control. Small company syndrome I guess.

Take all the new miniatures, compare the weapons. Female ones are smaller in general. Next compare by pose, there are some poses that repeat (maybe they figured the settings for casting and don't want to experiment anymore) and you will notice some coincidences too. Kneeling or similar are huge, with heads reaching way too high areas of the standing ones. Alone they look OKish, but near each other, the kneeling ones look a different scale, not a taller person.
They stopped being small and young. Artist's "ma'freeeeeedom" syndrome? Spanish syndrome? "Everything is beta" syndrome (this one is hitting too many sectors and all kind of companies)? *shrug*

I don't know, the female bit never bothered me as they claim quite fervently that they are anime inspired, which is fine. Pose limits, or overly flashy poses, looking at you Uhlan, where excess crap is almost as heavy as the model itself is more my speed for annoyance. As for cause, I think it might be a mix of the two, and a little dash of being a tad big headed with all the praise they get.

Anime girls use smaller rifles? Wouldn't it make more sense to keep the weapon the same, so it's more apparent they girls are nimble? Looking at some anime... it should be the other way, biggggggggg weapons for the dames (not liking it either personally).

Idk, maybe they're trying to keep the female scale consistent so they look a little less doll-like which is what large weapons would do?

Fix the dolls then.
Some people complain about assembly. CB said new design is easier to paint and assembly... except tiny arms of the dolls. Things don't match.

Try using tweezers (or longer dressings forceps) - prevented me gluing myself to any part of them.
I've used them for ALL of the human infantry for infinity.
