Alright, BoW have put up the first videos for Infinity Week, and Carlos has given us a lot of fun spoilers for the new book, and for this year. I wanna hear thoughts, speculations, and happy squees of joy :D From Black Friars to Sukeul Commandos the entire Human Sphere of the game has something to enjoy in this. :pano: For me, I can't wait for the Tikabalang/Uhlan double box, and my rampant speculation is that his comments on Aconticimento releases this year are going to finally lead to the resculpts I've been wanting for Guarda and Bagh Mari, and maybe Auxilia resculpts for NTC, which I would love and cherish cause the current ones be ugly.

I'm sure it'll be nice, but all I really want is the exclusive model.

I think the Onyx starter is a prize for their giveaway, just as an fyi.

Cool that Ariadna gets someone with strategos 2, but you need to keep tjat guy well hidden for the entore game. A very vulnetable LT without output.

Pretty surprised how many new skills there seem to be.

About those PanoTags. How many TAgs does PanO need ? You can pnöy use 1, max 2 per game.

I mean we are the TAG faction, that's sort of the whole thing we do, with the tech and the pseudo-good guy bit  and of course we look good doing it. I don't know, for me its more about the Uhlan than the Tikabalang. First off, I love saying Uhlan, it just rolls off the tongue, but more than that, I like the idea of having a mini-TAG; I've been jealous of the Geckos since I first saw them. Right about Col. Voronin, though. Strategos is something that I think Ariadna can put to good use, but he is going to be a juicy target.

While the Colonel might be a bit fragile, you gotta get past his pet Antipode first...

The number of new skills and new profiles (even for troops we've seen in HS2) is pretty impressive. It will really challenge veterans and noobies alike.

Is going to seem like a whole new game for a while!

...and as a Nomad player, the Bakunin tease is very interesting (even if I really wish it could be Tunguska, but that will wait till AF).

Couldnt you just kill both from a distance?

For me, it's the uhlan double box ... (I don't need a tikbalang - and they're ava2 in NCA).
I can fabricate duplicate parts from GS, plasticard and bits if needed. And use leftover bits for my Yu-Jing stuff base decorations.

The kolonel? Guardian was described as "can't get into cc with him without wearing a hit from the mutt". Nothing about shooting him from a distance. Hopefully this will be covered. Auxbot heavy flamers are good for that.

As for the rest, I'm content to wait for the book to find out.

Yeah my fiance plays Nomads as well and has had mostly the same reaction. Heck, even I'm bummed its not Tunguska.

Carlos said IS will get a lot of attention this year. That is good news because 2015 was a dry spot. IIRC the Baos came out late in 2014.

For my part I'm hoping to see many Special Operative profils to balance the number of Specialists in each army. It was my major comment in the survey they did earlier.

Free Agent is very cool. Giving the model the ability to switch battle groupes for free makes list building more fluid.

I think its because I'm new and haven't really done much with battle-groups; mostly because I haven't had enough models to justify having more than one. So to me Free Agent doesn't seem like that big of a deal because I still don't see the point of having more than one group unless you have to have one.

The antipode is in the same base, and we have seen a profile already. I doubt there is an antipode profile.

Currently many players have a 10 model group with 1-3 reserve models in group 2. Some of them a duplicates of models in group 1. If the said model dies it fun to have the back up copy come in and take its place or just have any model bring back your order pool back up to 10. Makes turn 1 less harsh if you loss several model. Having Free agent is good because it frees a command token to do other things.

It's sounding like you have to take a hit from the pup in Close Combat, but can shoot without too much of a penalty.

Well,

Somebody will get it.

So much new again. I'm going to have to wait and read the book to get it all. I just hope the cover is not so very glossy, and dark like N3. It shows fingerprints and smudges like a mofo. :x

I'm waiting patiently for someone to do a writeup of all the information being shared. BoW should stick to writing. Bakunin goodies and more Hacking shenanigans seem interesting enough, not sure how they'll be better than Sucker Punch though.

OMG!

As we in French : «If you are not worth a good laugh you are worth nothing». ;)

So many changes. Not a bad thing at all. Changes are going in the right direction it seems. More fluidity /flexibility with the pool order is good.

Gloves for miniatures... and now for books too. Invest in latex, nitrile, glove makers, buy, buy! :f5:

I love the changes they made and look forward to the new releases for JSA, but as a JSA player, I am a little worried about the transition to the 400 point standard; I mean, JSA always needs to get up close and personal, but with 100 points more worth of potential ARO's it will be a lot harder to get there. I hope that ITS tournaments stay at 300 points, but the recent trend here in the Netherlands is showing what I fear.

Who is talking about a 400 point standard? I don t think it is going to happen. N3 has firmly set in the 300 pt standard. ITS is all about 300 points, even though there ate some other options. 400 pts would take too long. I know that there are 400 pts toirnaments, but I doubt they will become the norm. I d never attend such an event, too stressfull.

I haven't seen any credible talk of a 400 point standard. If anything, most discussions here and on the official forums tend to support 300 points.

At 300, you need to make challenging choices about what fits - not so much at 400.
