Ok so I was thinking of movies/series that are good for Infinity inspiration and here is what I have so far...
District 9 (the aliens remind me of Shasvastii)
Elysium (Especially the high tech, clean visuals for Elysium)
Ghost in the Shell (Obvious choice but deserves to be here)
Dredd (Who wouldn't want to have a Mega block as a game board)
Total Recall (The visuals in the remake are very Infinity to me)
What do you guys think we should add to this list?

I just watched Elysium for the first time 2 nights ago, and wow. Good movie, and fantastic visuals for Infinity.
The new Dredd film is good for futuristic slum ideas.

In the hexagonal future, there is only war.
You can also add the series "Intelligence" to the list, it's got some really cool augmented reality scenes all over the place.
For anime, Psycho-pass was very cool and kinda creepy with the AI making all the choices for people. Guilty Crown starts off pretty cool, and then takes a left turn at Albuquerque, and not for the better. I still like the hacker's full-body interface technique, though.

I know this isn't along the same lines of the visual inspiration of the game but I've been playing Xcom: Enemy Within and the game play is very similar to playing Infinity. It would probably make a good game engine to make a video game version of Infinity.

Some good suggestions here. Some of which I already own and I am kicking myself for not thinking of (specifically Appleseed 
) other I am going to have to hunt down.
One of my group suggested - Titan AE - which confused me initially but I suppose some bits are kind of Nomad-esque (although it has been many years since I saw it).

If we are talking the visuals that inspire the Infinity figures then you will want it include the Bubblegum Crisis series. Lots of armor suited girls in high heels and humanoid androids.

Here's one you wouldn't expect.
Disneys Atlantis: The Lost Empire the overall design of the city is reminiscent of some of the photos from paradiso.

What I do: Chef by trade, arsehole by choice and I play and TO for Infinity when I'm not being either.
Renaissance(2006) was also a good movie, starring Daniel Craig.

Almost Human is pretty good for inspiration. It would make for a cool take on Lhosts.
